A partnership that’s grown with technological changes
THE partnership between Jackpersad & Partners Inc and Axim began prior to the merger of the practices.
Axim supplied equipment to both individual founding radiology practices. Radiology equipment in the early days included dark room technology. X-rays were taken using cassettes that housed film, which were then processed in a dark room using chemicals (fixer and developer) to produce images on film.

This was a highly specialised process that incorporated mixing chemicals and ensuring the correct temperature of the processor.
Thereafter, the practices embraced the technological changes of the time and were early adopters of the then new cassette reader technology. The practice is now fully digital.
Axim has supplied equipment to JPI throughout the practice’s technological evolution. Axim’s business has also grown and the company now supplies equipment, film, contrast media, as well as radio-pharmaceuticals and other medical requisites.
