LPC congratulates winners of the WOZA awards

The Legal Practice Council congratulates the recipients of the WOZA awards for their achievements and excellence as practitioners in legal profession. “The WOZA awards are good for our sector as they recognise women making strides in the legal profession. The awards inspire women in the industry to excel and will also inspire future generations,” says Janine Myburgh, chairperson of the Legal Practice Council. “To all the winners, I commend you for all your efforts, may you continue to be an inspiration for the current and future generations,” she said. Myburgh pointed out that advancement and empowerment of women in the profession is key to the Legal Practice Council’s goal of transforming the legal profession. “We continue to see representation of women and

Africans increase at all levels of the profession - not only at the National Council level and provincial levels, but more so in the number of our candidate legal practitioners entering the profession. We are moving in the right direction and thanks to all stakeholders and to initiatives such as the WOZA awards,” said Myburgh.
