Calling: A Christian View of Work IPC is hosting a Men’s Retreat at The Country Place in Moscow, Tennessee. The retreat is an opportunity for men across various communities to enjoy fellowship with one another, and spend time studying the theme of “Calling: A Christian View of Work.” Sadly, being a Christian can actually complicate the struggle with work.
We wonder if our ‘secular’ job has any spiritual value, if our job is what God has called us to do— or if we even have ‘a calling.’ Thankfully, the Bible talks a lot about how to view and do our work, and Christ came to free us that we might work for Him in whatever kind of job we have. We will look at this neglected area of the Christian life at the retreat. Over the course of four sessions, Jeremy Jones will explain what scripture teaches on this topic.
INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THIS WEEKEND are four meals (three meals on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday), materials, and lodging. Concerning lodging, we are providing two different options at two different costs.
