National Advisory Board in India

PACS Aims & Objectives PACS is a non-governmental organization, which is started by the UK Government’s Department for Global Development. The Poorest Areas Civil Society (PACS) refers to an institution that targets to diminish the gap between the high living standard and socially backward people. This programme is funded by National Advisory Board India, the Regional Project Selection Committee, general public and private corporations. Since the foundation, Regional Project Selection Committee's (RPSCs) have been engaged in appraising & evaluating PACS projects. To make sure that the projects are going rightly, the RPSCs constantly examine progress statements given by the IFIRST Consortium. Following are two RPSCs that work for the welfare of the socially backward people: • The Eastern Regional Project Selection Committee (ERPSC) • The Central Regional Project Selection Committee (CRPSC)
