Dr. Brian Badman is a Hoosier native, originally from South Bend, who attended Indiana University for both undergraduate and medical education. After finishing residency at the University of Florida, he then completed one of the top shoulder fellowships in the world at the Florida Orthopedic Institute in 2006. Over the past 15 years, Dr. Badman has become one of the leading shoulder surgeons in the Midwest, performing over 200 shoulder replacements and over 250 arthroscopic procedures annually. He
is the founding member of Optum Bone and Spine and works in collaboration with the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center as part of their fellowship for shoulder education. Also, as a member of the prestigious American Shoulder and Elbow Society, he continues research to further advance shoulder surgery. His free time is spent with his family and doing CrossFit.
