Indiana Vac, LLC

1875 Philadelphia St. Indiana | 724.349.8565 indianavacuum.com | pacentralvac.com “We specialize in quality vacuums that will last years, not months, and if a customer has questions they call us, not an 800 number” was Evan Strittmatter’s reply when asked what sets his store apart. On July 3rd, 2012, Indiana Vac, was founded by Evan Strittmatter and his mother Cindy Konkol Strittmatter – nearly a year later, Evan graduated from Homer Center High School. Since opening, they’ve expanded their product lines to include over 40 different available models and strive to match customers with a vacuum that matches their budget, lifestyle, and needs. “We also encourage our customers to come in and test drive our vacs before buying… you wouldn’t buy a car without test driving it would you?” stated Evan. The buying experience is different also – instead of carrying a box of vacuum pieces and an unintelligible instruction manual, Indiana Vac will assemble your new vacuum, show you how to operate and maintain it, then offer to carry it to your vehicle. Evan and Cindy expanded their business, as of August 2015, to include “Pittsburgh Central Vacuum” – a completely separate undertaking that services and installs central vacuum units in the Greater-Pittsburgh Region. With this expansion, they’ve acheived “Bronze Dealer” status with MD Central Vacuum Systems. Specializing in vacuums, central vacuums systems, carpet cleaners, dry carpet cleaner, air revitalizers, odor neutralizers (that go in your vacuum), belts, bags, filters, and service for nearly all brands - it’s truly a one-stop shop for all floor cleaning needs. “We try to carry most belts, bags, and filters for all types of vacuums, and if it’s not in stock, we can usually have it in a day.” Indiana Vac carries vacuums by, Arreus (the original Electrolux), Riccar, Miele, Sanitaire and Royal – central vacuum systems by VacuFlo, MD Central Vacuum Systems and Hide-a-Hose Central Vacuum. “We now carry over 40 different models – when we started, there were only 7.” stated Evan as he walked through the newly remodeled showroom. They are a certified warranty station for Hoover, Bissell, DirtDevil, as well as all of the products they sell. They service most all brands - offering loaner vacuums to customers bringing their old unit in for repairs – the opposite of what box stores can offer.

Evan is currently a full-time student at IUP, does all the major service/warranty work, central vacuum installations in new and preexisting structures, and assists customers with sales. Cindy is also a Homer-Center graduate. She helps with sales and manages all accounting aspects of the business. His father, Mark, and brother, Hunter, both help as needed and Grandpa “Fritz” assists with central vacuum installations. Additional thanks goes to Justin Smyers, Store Manager, whose customercentric attitude and product knowledge has given Evan an opportunity to focus on the expansion of Pittsburgh Central Vacuum, knowing his store and customers are in good hands. Evan says, “Everyone has played a huge part in helping make sure our customers receive the best service in the industry – I’m proud of that.” Evan is currently on the Board of Directors for the Alice Paul House, the Chamber of Commerce YPO and he is the Associate Vice President of Indiana-Armstrong Homebuilders Association. He is a member of VDTA (Vaccuum Dealers Trade Association), NAHB (National Association of Home Builders), WPBA (Westmoreland Professional Builders Association) and the BAMP (Builders Association of Metro Pittsburgh). Indiana Vac offers lifetime free labor on vacuums they sell to non-profit organizations like churches and charities and donates to various other charities and organizations.

Stello Foods, Inc. 385 Stello Way, Punxsutawney (800) 849-4599 Stellofoods.com We all have a childhood memory of a special recipe that only Mom could make. For Nickki Stello, his family and friends, “Rosie’s Sweet Pepper Spread” was everyone’s favorite. Our grandparents’ (Nick and Lucy Villella) recipe for ground peppers with oil in a special tomato sauce was passed on to the next generation. No one ever imagined this special spread (so often shared with family and friends) would soon be sold in grocery stores all over the country. In 1990, what began as Sunday meals with family and friends, evolved into Nickki Stello’s college project built around his grandmother’s pepper spread recipe. After many hours of discussion, the project led to a partnership between family and friends, David Daughenbaugh, James Stello, Jamie Stello, Nickki Stello and Richard Weaver. The business quickly outgrew our grandparents’ patio operation, so a food processing kitchen was constructed from the beauty shop in the basement of Rosie and Jim Stello’s Punxsutawney home in 1991. Sales increased from thousands of jars to thousands of cases. In 1993, the partnership became the corporation, Stello Foods, Inc., making a major commitment to our customers and products. The old Punxsutawney Hardware building on Pine Street was purchased & converted into a new processing plant. The larger production facility allowed Stello Foods to purchase larger manufacturing equipment and increase production. Soon other companies heard about our success and began to approach us to manufacture their family recipes. This new market of manufacturing services quickly took off. What began as a manufacturing facility for our own family recipes, soon became a business where other companies could have their recipes produced (our growing contract packaging and private label business). Now after 19 years in business we have a fully automated production facility in which a wide range of products for hundreds of companies is produced. The experiences from our humble beginnings make the company what we are today and define the path for our future. Stello Foods, Inc. now looks forward to the future as we strive for higher goals. We hope you have enjoyed our story as much as you have enjoyed our products. We would love to hear your thoughts. Please contact us about what you enjoy most about our products and how we can improve.

Mohawk Lanes has been a staple in Indiana County since 1973. I am sure there are many people with very fond memories of bowling with family and childhood friends. We grew up just knocking down some pins and having the time of our lives. It has been the goal of the Dalesandro family since purchasing Mohawk Lanes to provide people of all ages and abilities a fun place for recreation and socialization. Dave Irwin originally opened the doors at Mohawk employing Ron Dalesandro as the manager. In 1986 (along with Don and Judy Jeffries, and Ted and Joan Stancombe) Ron and wife Carole went into partnership purchasing Mohawk Lanes. In 2008 Ron and Carole took full ownership of Mohawk Lanes buying out the other four partners. Ron continued to manage Mohawk as an owner until he sadly passed away last July. Ron’s oldest daughter Michele Housholder is now managing the business. Through the years the Dalesandro family added eight lanes (24 total lanes) , automatic scoring, and a kitchen and lounge. They are the only bowling center in Indiana County that is completely opened to the public and offers automatic scoring. The most recent upgrade was a ramp to make it easy for seniors and people with disabilities to enjoy special moments at Mohawk as well. “Bowling is a lifelong sport for all, whether you are 2 or 92. You can participate and even enjoy a few strikes along the way.” They also host and participate in several fundraisers every year. The Dalesandro makes it a priority to give back to the communities that have given them so much over the years. Bowl-a-thons for Big Hearts & Little Hands, Multiple Sclerosis, Birdie’s Closet and the Veteran’s Association are just a few they are proud to be a part of. So stop in make some more memories today, the Dalesandro’s are excited to meet you and share a few of your special moments.

Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home Locations in Indiana and Clymer 724.349.2000 At the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home’s, our goal is to help families say goodbye in a way that is comforting for the family and fitting for the person who has died. We welcome families of all faiths to talk with us about their customs and allow us to use our experiences with many different cultures and traditions. We encourage those with questions to call and allow us to put your mind at ease by fully discussing your options for funeral service. Of course we will always be mindful of your budget. We are excited to announce that by year’s end we will begin operating our own crematory at our Indiana location. That means we will be the first funeral home in the Indiana area to offer cremation service at our own crematory. We will no longer outsource cremations to an offsite location, permitting us to control the entire process from making the initial arrangements with the family to hand delivering the cremated remains following cremation. The crematory will be used for families at both the Indiana and Clymer funeral homes.

The Tate (originally Teti) family immigrated from Italy in the late 1890s, first seeking opportunity in the coal-rich regions of eastern Pennsylvania, then migrating to the boom town of Arcadia in Indiana County. Working as coal miners, the Tate family eventually bought a farm, and raised beef cattle to serve the needs of local miners and their families.

Supermarket 120 Fourth St., Clymer (724) 254-4420 tatesmarket.com

Success in the beef business led the Tates to expand into dry goods, and, finally, in 1906, our great-grandfather Anthony "Pete" Tate and his family founded The Original Tate Brothers grocery store on Franklin Street in Clymer.

The Tate family and the greater Clymer community have been intertwined ever since. Pete's sons, Anthony, William "Skip", and George continued the family's work. Anthony and George stayed with the store, shaping, improving, and expanding The Original Tate Brothers over the course of the 1950s and 1960s. They constructed a new building at our current location in the 1970s, creating Tate's Supermarket as you know it today.

As the children and grandchildren of Anthony and George, we have endeavored to continue and expand upon our fathers' and grandfathers' example. Throughout the years, we have taken pride in Tate's signature quality of product and customer service, and in our service to the community. Most of all, we value the lifelong friendships and community ties that have kept us going for over 110 years. We are the proud owners of Tate's: George Tate and Denise Packer, immediate family: Stacie Tate, Mark Tate, Aaron Packer, John Kerr, and Tom Thornton, and extended family with 10 or more years of service: Frank Petro, Bette Kelly, Dan Janosko, Bob Peace, Nancy Geary, Carry McAdoo, Dave Kramer, Lisa Nyland, Alice Greer, Wanda Myers, Kim Lowmaster, Rose Barnes, and many more friends and family besides. We look forward to many more years of being a part of your family, just as you have been a part of ours.
