ENGAGEMENT IN THE WORLD STARTS HERE.

Study IT. Discuss IT. Influence IT.

DISCOVERY, CREATIVITY AND COLLABORATION THRIVE HERE

The world

needs openminded, inquisitive, hard-working, intentional, truth-seeking individuals.

It’s what every organization needs. And, it’s exactly what an arts and sciences education provides.

A degree from Indiana Tech’s College of Arts and Sciences opens the door to many of today’s most sought-after career opportunities. We’ll teach you how to think critically, become a stronger communicator, improve your interpersonal skills and learn how to apply knowledge from various disciplines—essential skills that are beneficial in any career path you choose.

Students are fueled by creating change and helping others. Our job is to help them turn that passion into a career. Whether your focus is on behavioral or social sciences, helping professions, communication fields, natural science or law enforcement, you’ll find a program that will open your eyes—and doors— to opportunity.

& SCIENCES

A legacy of leadership.

Since our start in 1930, we remain firmly rooted in our original vision: to prepare every student for professional and personal success in the real world. Indiana Tech is a four-year university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).

Opportunities, here and beyond.

Learning starts on our Fort Wayne campus, but extends far beyond our classrooms. We create opportunities to connect and grow at professional conferences and networking events, in hospitals and newsrooms and laboratories—wherever your major may take you. And our studyabroad programs have opened even more doors, giving students unique experiences in Europe, Japan and the UK.

There

are larger arts and sciences colleges,

but we believe smaller is better.

At Indiana Tech, the average class size in the College of Arts & Sciences is just 15, all taught by either full-time professors or adjunct instructors who come from the working world. No grad assistants are teaching 100-person survey classes here. Your instructors will know your name, your interests and your goals.

A special focus on society, neighborhoods and justice.

Our innovative criminal justice program offers courses related to an important and increasingly complex field. We use a problem-solving approach to teach criminal justice. You will investigate, process a crime scene, structure a criminal profile and participate in a mock trial—all to support an authentic criminal justice education.

Make the most of your internship.

Indiana Tech hosts a part-time job and internship fair every year. Internships are strongly encouraged. They build your resume, give you practical experience and prep you for the world beyond campus.

Not sure how internships work? No worries! We’ll set you up for success. Our pre-internship seminar shows you how create a portfolio and pursue career opportunities.

YOU WILL TRAIN WITH EQUIPMENT YOU’LL USE IN THE FIELD, WHICH IS IMPACTFUL WHEN IT’S TIME TO ENTER THE WORKFORCE.
