AIBC holds productive discussion with DFAT

A rich and productive discussion with Australia's chief negotiator Frances Lisson PSM and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) Queensland Director Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Services Branch Stephen Dietz on the way forward on Australia India Interim Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement in Brisbane, was held along with Australia India Business Council (AIBC), Institute for Australia India Engagement (IAIE) and Australia India News colleagues Shaun Star, Amit Mehta, Ram Mohan and Kritika Bansal. A detailed discussion on services, agriculture, investment, tariffs, non tariff barriers supply chain was held. The representatives also shared IAIE and Australia India News publications and collections of articles on Australia-India relations. There was a strong optimism on both sides with regards to the future of Australia India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership under Anthony Albanese and Narendra Modi.
