Music brings local talents closer to the international Indian Artists

(From News desk) On December 9th, 2022 Brisbane Indian community came together to witness a blockbuster event which gave our local talents the opportunity to perform along with the international artists. It was organized by LKS events along with various other local groups who supported and brought the audience to the show.

The show was a mixed bag of song, dance, and magic performances. It catered to young and old equally.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2021-22 India winner Nilanjana Ray and Tanmay Chaturvedi traveled to Brisbane from India to perform along with our local artists.

They sang Asha Bhosale, Muhammad Rafi Songs (among other songs) making audience slip into the yester era of good old songs. Sanchit Chanana’s dance performance was the best among all. And Javed Khan left everyone wondering about his magical talents.

It was interesting to see how he incorporated the mobile phone technology in his magical acts.

Our talented local Brisbane singers, students of Sargam Music Academy got the opportunity to open the blockbuster show with their mesmerizing singing. They sung the famous A. R. Rehman song “Maa tujhe Salam”. Another local group that got the opportunity to perform on stage was the “Tapori Dance Group” who left everyone entertained by their special bollywood dance performances. More such local and international artists collaborative entertainment shows must be organized in the community to give that much needed opportunity and bigger platform to our local talents.
