Aussie-India biz collaborations discussed at ICAI meet

The 12th International Conference of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Sydney was organized recently. Its theme was ‘Connect, Act, Tranform: Embrace the Power of Collaboration’ Speaking at the conference, Consul General Manish Gupta briefed the participants on various opportunities for collaboration in trade and investment between Australia and India.

Among the notable speakers were Mark Rice – Group Executive, Member Engagement, CA ANZ, Sam Wilson, General Manager, CA Program, CA ANZ, Anthony Shaw, CEO, HSBC Australia, Anand Thomas, Executive Director at Transport for NSW, Luke Moon, CFO and COO, 4WD and Adventure Kings, Prof Barney Glover AO, Vice Chancellor, WSU, Annalisa Amiradakis, Partner, Deloitte – Climate and Sustainability, Parag Patki, Managing Partner Oceania, Tata Consultancy Services, Kimberley Ohayon, Regional Head Oceania,Global Member Experience, CPA Australia, and, Sargent Major US Marines (Retired) Max Garcia.

Besides, the above notable speakers, a few dignitaries also made their presentations at the event. A panel discussion was also organized and it focused on Australia-India economic opportunities. The conference was aimed at bringing insights from diverse expertise. Besides being a congregation of insightful topics, the conference also offered a platform for fostering networking relationships that could drive career progression and create new legacies for collaborative learning.
