ISKCON organizes Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra

Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra was at the Forrest Chase in Perth CBD organized by the ISKCON Perth - Sri Sri Gaura Nitai Temple. Consul General Amarjeet Singh Takhi participated in the celebration together with Ramai Swami Maharaj, Dr Jags MLA, Ayor Makur Chuot MLC and hundreds of Krishna devotees. Rath Yatra in Puri, India, is considered as one of world's largest religious and chariot festivals which has been celebrated since time immemorial. The festival is held at the city of Puri, in the state of Odisha, India and associated with the deity Jagannath, a form of Vishnu or Krishna.
