PM VISIT HELPED BOOST U.S. TIES
WA S H I N G T O N DC: Though it was relatively a low key affair this time, the upshot of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to USA was to cement and give a fresh boost to the Indo-US relations. The visit reaffirmed the growing Indo-US ties in economic and business areas also. This major objective was achieved with the PM meeting business leaders and greeting members of Indian community during the course of his 40 plus meetings in three days. PM Modi began his visit to the United States by meeting with President Obama where they recommitted themselves to strengthening the USIndia partnership.
