STRONG BJP SHOW IN HUNG J&K VERDICT All set to form govt in Jharkhand

SRINAGAR/RANCHI: The Modi magic continued to make waves with the BJP registering its best performance yet in Jammu & Kashmir in the assembly elections although it fell well short of a majority, landing 25 of 87 seats. In a heavily-fractured verdict the regional People's Democratic Party (PDP) was in first place with 28 seats throwing many possibilities in government formation. The

BJP however is all set to form government in Jharkhand in coalition with ally AJSU. With 28 seats, the PDP was in a pole position to form the government but the party appeared to be keeping all options open like the BJP which has won 25 seats, all in the Jammu region.
