Our organization derives its name from a precept of the Great Law of Peace of the Haudenosaunee which mandates that chiefs consider the impact of their decisions on the seventh generation yet to come. This guiding principal is kept foremost in our frontline work with grassroots Native communities in their project planning, development and problem-solving efforts. Our Media Department has been providing a variety of media services in Indian Country since 2003. From installing language multi-media development labs in communities that are working to revive their Native languages, to producing short promotional and educational videos for Native organizations, We believe that by putting media tools in the hands of the people, media can help move Native American issues forward in the digital age.
