book design

brief - Design a book on the memory scape. The things which impact the most in your memories.

process Visualisation process

These paintings are the visual depiction of the chakras I see in the memory. I could see these Images when I am in my meditative state. It took me hours to visualise them and communicate them in a 2D ( dimentional ) form . I used to visualise certain kind of shapes and colours which I converted into small thumbnails which were furthur made into water colour paintings.

final pages CHAKRAs are the seven power points located in human body I saw many people were un aware of the “Chakras. Therefore i decided to make it an Introductory book This book consist of all the scientific, spiritual, meaning of the chakras.

PLANETARY SCULPTURE SUPPER CLUB bRIEF To make a scientiďŹ c ďŹ lm for an event. DESCRIPTION This video was shot by me under the facilitation of faculty Cathrine Kramer and presenting it in a planetary supper club it was an experiment. This project maps air quality by harvesting air from highly polluted areas. Egg foams are up to 90% air, and whipping the eggs causes particulate matter to be trapped in the batter. The batter can be tested for heavy metals and VOCs, compared in a microscope or baked and served as trojan horse sweets.

shadow liberation The brighter the light the darker the shadow. Shadow Liberation uses creatively crafted visual stories to captivate the imagination and inviteaudiences to interrupt the injustice ofgender violence. In the tradition of Augusto Boal's Forum Theatre, audience members areinvited on stage to offer improvisational interventions into scenes depicting oppression.

THeatre act Shadow liberation was a group of 16 people working together and performing theater of opressed all over country. I was playing the role of main charecter “Gaurav. This particular charecter had dual personality. He was a protagonist and the antagonist. In total we did about 28 performances.

final assignment http://shadowliberation.blogspot.in/2012/04/it-matters_21.html

impact My character became very famous. The act was very provocative and initiated many interventions.

In most of the interventions the audience reaction was genuine. I was slapped at the time of interventions which I took as a compliment, as the act left a impact on the audience.(furthur instructions were given by the director not to do any physical assault to the actors).

pHOTOGRAPHY

I am a passionate photographer and i have done project 365, where you click almost everyday in the whole year. I prefer not sticking to a specďŹ c genre as i think then it contricts creativity. I am also a professional wedding photographer. I like to experiment with diffrent mediums in photgraphy.
