Building Blocks It is possible to divide a tactical urbanism into three phases; planning, implementation and impact.

Effects
The planning phase starts with the objectives, the reason behind the tactical urbanism action. These objectives are hold against the resources available, while stakeholders are being defined and communicated with.
When all the planning is done, the actual tactical urbanism action is being held. This phase is characterised with two parts, possibilities and activities.
The impact phase of the tactical urbanism, when performed well, should follow the objectives of the planning phase. The revitalisation sum up the effects during the tactical urbanism, while the lighthouse effect shows the motivation for more permanent change. The effect part considers the long-term influence of the tactical urbanism.

Class & Guest speaker Our objective for the field trip was to teach our class while giving them inspiration. Resources were limited unfortunately, as we were depended on a lot of different stakeholders. First of the field trip shouldn’t intervene with our class’ schedule, as well as it should fit in the schedule of our guest speaker.
Inspiration The activity that was decided upon is a talk from Sjoerd Soeters about the perfect street. Sjoerd Soeters is a well know architect and urban designer who has a lot of expierence within the field of (re) development. This activity has many possibilities, among others, it is a free event with network potential, and because the talk was already fixed, there is a low chance of cancellation.
Hopefully the field trip will ensure a possibility of networking together with knowledge, motivation and inspiration that will be used for the Canada project.
