Industreal è il frutto dell’energia di un sempre più ampio gruppo di Designer, di ONEOFF, Prototipazione e Sperimentazione Milano e dello Studio SowdenDesign. Fondata a Milano nel 2007, inizia come progetto di ricerca nel 2004 con la mostra In Dust We Trust in occasione del 43° Salone Internazionale del Mobile. L’intento di questa manifestazione, e delle successive, è quello di illustrare come la creatività inizia liberamente dalle idee e di mostrare i risultati nati senza limiti produttivi o di marketing. L’energia prodotta da queste mostre permette la realizzazione della prima collezione Industreal presentata al mercato nel 2007. Industreal è attualmente editore di oggetti di design, che nascono dalla ricerca di idee attraverso un network internazionale di designer, dalla sperimentazione tecnologica e da innovazione applicata alla produzione. Industreal è un marchio italiano distribuito in tutto il mondo. Collabora attivamente con circa 300 designer internazionali e ha al suo attivo un database di 4000 designer provenienti da tutto il mondo.

Industreal is the result of the combined energy of a large group of young Designers, ONEOFF Prototyping and Experimentation in Milan, and SowdenDesign. Industreal, founded in Milan 2007, began as a research project in 2004 with the exhibition called In Dust We Trust which was held during the 43rd Salone del Mobile. The objective of this exhibition, and of the following ones, was to illustrate how creativity starts freely from ideas and to show the results without interference from manufacturing or marketing limitations. It was the energy generated by these first exhibitions that inspired us to produce the First Industreal Product Collection presented to the market in 2007. Industreal has become an editor of design objects which are developed as research ideas by an international network of designers, making use of technological experimentation and innovation applied to the production process. Industreal is an Italian brand, distributed worldwide. It collaborates with 300 designers across the globe and has a database of 4000 international designers.

Il brief di progetto per questa iniziativa è di ripensare un piccolo oggetto di uso domestico e quotidiano che sia funzionale e non esclusivamente decorativo. Riprogettarlo di modo che la sua produzione sia piĂš semplice e meno costosa. Un’idea semplice da produrre ma forte nel messaggio, in puro stile Industreal.

The brief for this proposal is to rethink a small, everyday household object that is functional and not just decorative, redesigning it so that production is easier and less expensive. A simple idea to produce but strong in the message it conveys: the distinctive style of Industreal.

PANIER PERCÈ design Ionna Vautrin & Guillaume Delvigne La mostra “Ospiti inaspettati. Case di ieri, Design di oggi” (11 marzo-2 maggio 2010) porterà oltre duecento oggetti, progettati dal 2000 a oggi dai più affermati designer internazionali e prodotti dalle migliori realtà industriali, all’interno delle Case Museo Milanesi. A legare insieme gli oggetti raccolti da Fausto e Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi alla fine del XIX secolo è il rigore di un progetto abitativo che si spinge al dettaglio: un corredo di oggetti destinati ad accompagnare la vita e i gesti degli abitanti della casa Bagatti Valsecchi. E allora, come oggi, domina la fiducia che l’ambiente domestico sia uno scenario privilegiato per godere della bellezza decorativa degli oggetti o della loro qualità materica, per aprirsi a sperimentazioni o confrontarsi con il passato. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The exhibition “Ospiti inaspettati. Case di ieri, Design di oggi” (11th March to 2ndMay 2010) will bring more than two hundred objects, designed since 2000 by more established international designers and produced by the best industrial reality, within the Milanese Museum Houses. The objects collected by Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi in the late XIX century are tied together by the rigor of a housing project which goes to the detail: a set of items intended to accompany the life and deeds of the inhabitants of the house Bagatti Valsecchi. And then, as now, dominates the confidence that the home environment is a privileged scenario to the beauty of decorative objects and their material quality, open out to experimentation or confront with the past. Giovedì 1 luglio alle ore 18.30 presso la Triennale di Milano - Spazio Material ConneXion si terrà l’inaugurazione dell’esposizione finale del progetto Un Designer per le Imprese. Un designer per le imprese è un progetto speciale nato per favorire l’innovazione e la collaborazione tra mondo imprenditoriale e Scuole di Alta Formazione. Partendo dai 15 concept proposti dalle imprese partecipanti, i team di studenti di Domus Academy, Istituto Europeo di Design, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di Milano e Politecnico di Milano hanno elaborato 60 progetti di prodotti dal design innovativo e rispondenti a una logica di produzione semplice, efficiente e a basso impatto ambientale. La Giuria del concorso di idee, composta da Silvana Annicchiarico, Aldo Cibic ed Emilio Genovesi, ha selezionato i 15 migliori progetti, dei quali sono stati realizzati i prototipi esposti in Triennale. Al miglior progetto è stato assegnato un premio speciale in ricordo di Manuela Cifarelli, Direttrice dalla fondazione di Material ConneXion Milano. Un designer per le imprese è promosso dalla Camera di Commercio di Milano in collaborazione con Material ConneXion, il più grande centro mondiale di documentazione e ricerca sui materiali innovativi.

Ionna Vautrin tiene poco más de treinta años, pero esta francesa de la zona de la Bretaña ha trabajado ya para grandes empresas como Camper y los estudios de George J. Sowden en Milán o los Hermanos Bouroullec en París. Se acaba de establecer por su cuenta y con uno de sus primeros proyectos, la lamparita de mesa Binic que ha diseñado para Foscarini, ya podría haber creado un best seller. La mostramos en el número pasado, tras su presentación el pasado octubre en la bienal belga de diseño Interieur. Es una monada; Vautrin ha conseguido dotarla de unas formas tan amables que dan ganas de achucharla. Está inspirada en las mangas de aspiración de viento de los barcos, porque según nos cuenta la estética del mundo marítimo es una de sus mayores fuentes de inspiración. Ionna Vautrin, de hecho, tiene una especial relación familiar con la isla de Mallorca, donde desde pequeña ha pasado muchas temporadas. Esto la llevó en 2002, nada más licenciarse en diseño industrial por l’Ecola Nantes Atlantique, a buscar trabajo en la casa mallorquina. Allí pasó un año diseñando zapatos para después mudarse a Milán, donde tuvo la oportunidad de desarrollar electrodomésticos para Moulinex y Tefal en el estudio de George J. Sowden, quien fuera uno de los miembros del famoso grupo Memphis liderado por Ettore Sottsass en los ochenta. Estando en Milán, junto con otros amigos diseñadores propuso a una empresa de prototipado rápido la creación de una colección de piezas que fueran capaces de mostrar las posibilidades que ofrece esta técnica. Y así surgió Industreal <www.industreal.it>, una marca que produce accesorios de decoración contemporáneos a cada cual más atractivo. Después pasó cinco años en el estudio de los Hermanos Bouroullec, de quienes valora mucho su precisión y experimentación. Ahora está por su cuenta y se trae nuevos proyectos entre manos. Ich biaĹ‚e i czarne abaĹźury poddano laserowej obrĂłbce, ktĂłrej efektem jest róşnorodność pikselowych faktur. GĹ‚adkie lub chropowate powierzchnie kloszy nawiÄ…zujÄ… do obrazĂłw o niskiej, Ĺ›redniej oraz wysokiej kompresji. Studio Industreal moĹźna Ĺ›miaĹ‚o nazwać poligonem doĹ›wiadczalnym. To platforma wymiany poglÄ…dĂłw, doĹ›wiadczeĹ„ i realizowania designerskich fantazji.
