Industrial Design Bulgaria

The Department was founded in 1963 at National Academy of Arts in Sofia Bulgaria and in 1964 start a Master degree high school educational program concerning all areas of design practice. BA degree holders are qualified in: – Design of residential, industrial and social environment and equipment; – Exterior and interior design; – Computer design; – Design of spatial structures; – Plastic arts, ergonomics and technical drawing; – Graphic design and design for visual information systems; – Expert-manager activities. Upon completion of a minor in “Theory and practice of art education” graduates obtain qualification “Teacher of Fine Arts from first to twelfth grade in general education and vocational schools”. Master degree programs continue in research and applied areas of Automobile and Machine Building Design, Specialized Design for People with Disabilities, Interior and Exterior Design, Communication Media Design and Packaging Design.
