Safic-Alcan uK has acquired 100% of Techform Fine Chemicals limited, a chemical distributor specialising in the construction sector in the uK and Ireland. Schütz acquires Mexican packaging producer

Schütz has signed a purchase agreement for 100% of the shares of Envases y Laminados, S.A. de C.V. (ELSA).

ELSA is the leading supplier of rigid industrial packaging in Mexico. The company has been co-operating with Schütz under licence agreements for the manufacturing and sale of Schütz IBCs and plastic drums for almost 20 years.

enva group takes over Blue sky Plastic recycling

Enva Group, formerly known as DCC Environmental, a leading provider of waste management and waste materials solutions in the UK and Ireland, has acquired Blue Sky Plastic Recycling (BSP).

BSP, based in Lincolnshire, UK, specialises in recycling plastics from Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and other waste plastic materials. Recovered plastics are formulated and refined to substitute virgin plastic material in manufacturing processes. BSP deploys stateof-the-art waste separation technologies to sort waste plastics from other materials, and converts the waste plastics into a range of high-quality regrinds and compounds.

Trelleborg acquires Dartex Holdings

Trelleborg has, through its business area Trelleborg Coated Systems, finalised the acquisition of the privately owned uK company Dartex Holdings ltd.
