Welcome to Art@Governors 2013 which will be held on Saturday, February 2 , 2013. Join over 100 other local artists in a celebration of Cayman Island’s art and culture. To register, please tick appropriate boxes below and e-mail/deliver form to Ivanna at assistant@nationalgallery.org.ky. If you need assistance or further information, call 945-8111. The deadline for receipt of registration is nd Friday, 22 January 2013, 5:00pm. Please ensure that ALL rental fees are also paid to the National Gallery by this deadline.

Requirements: Please note your request will remain unconfirmed until all fees have been paid. ___# of Table(s) 6’ rectangular banquet style. ($10 per table) ___# of Display boards (max two SIDES (equivalent of one board per person). Each board is approx. 6’ tall and 3’ wide and made of wire mesh. All works MUST be brought ready to hang. Hooks will be provided. ($5 per side) ___# of Chair(s)

This event is made possible by invitation of His Excellency Governor, Mr Duncan Taylor and family. Set up will be from 8:00am – 11:00am, after which you will have an hour free to view your peers’ work 11:00am 12:00pm. Please be back at your booth by 12:00pm as the public arrives at 12:30pm, leaving at 4:00pm. I certify that the artwork I present at Art@Governors is made by me, the artist;

I have read and understood the Art@Governors cancellation policy** (below);

I accept full responsibility for the mounting, displaying and breakdown of my work and will keep my area in a clean and orderly fashion. I will return ALL rental equipment to the designated areas prior to leaving the grounds;

I accept that early breakdown of my booth is not permitted unless otherwise instructed;

I will not sell any works during Art@Governors if located at the Governor’s House side;

If selling work (only on Governor’s Square side), I agree to take full responsibility of all sales and monies made;

I understand that only artists who are exhibiting or demonstrating on the Governor’s House lawn will be invited to lunch on Government House property (due to limited capacity);

I understand that artists who are exhibiting or demonstrating on Governor’s Square property will receive lunch at Governor’s Square provided by Rotary Club Sunrise and their partners;

I take full responsibility for the security and safekeeping of my artwork and understand that the National Gallery, Government House and Governor’s Square are in no way liable for loss or damage to works exhibited; and

I release the National Gallery, Government House and Governor’s Square and any workers or volunteers, from any injury incurred by myself as exhibitor or demonstrator. The National Gallery will attempt to provide adequate shade where possible but it is not guaranteed. In addition exhibitors are asked to bring their own shade and rain protection, effective sun protection (sunblock) and to secure their own work in the event of a shower. Schedule of Events Drop off at location. Set up. Artist plus 1 helper only (volunteer help provided) Governor’s House: Artwork should be ‘walked’ onto the grounds but limited vehicle access will be available if requested prior to the event. On arrival proceed to the check-in centre directly in front of the gates for space allocation. Governor’s Square: Artwork should be ‘walked’ onto the property no vehicle access will be allowed. On arrival proceed to the check-in centre directly in front of the gates for space allocation. (DISCLAIMER – Due to the overwhelming response each year allotted spaces cannot be changed.) ALL participants MUST be set up by 11:00am. 11:00am - 12:00pm

Pick Up. All work must be removed by 5:00pm – NG is not responsible for any items left behind.
