Historical Evaluation (New Project) •

August 2016, on New York City’s Governor Island, a group of 150 Drone Pilots competed for a $50,000 Grand Prize (U.S. Drone Racing Championships).

During March of 2016, a UK teen won a $250k grand prize out of a total $1M purse (Dubai World Drone Prix).

During September of 2016, DRL partnered with “Survivor” producer Mark Burnett, and closes $12m investment (The Drone Racing League).

PriceWaterHouseCoopers consulting group predicts drone industry will be worth $127 Billion by 2020, including use for entertainment (Fortune Magazine, 2016).

Drone Racing becomes ESPN’s newest televised sport (New York Times, 2016).

Product – International Drone Federation • The World Endurance Championship drone racing series has two racing classes: • Drone Racing Prototype 1 (DRP1) – This class for elite drone racing pilots will be designated for car and drone manufacturer purpose-built drone racing prototypes with closed cock-pit designs using hydrogen fuel cells for longer flight times (4 hours) and 360 degree spherical video using Virtual Reality (VR) filming optimized for VR headsets and live streaming. (Ex: Nissan GT-R Drone [Watch]). • Drone Racing Prototype 2 (DRP2) – This class will consist of standardized IDF customized, maintained, and manufactured purpose-built drone racing prototypes with open cockpit designs, ensuring a level playing field, consistency of performance, high streaming and VR filming capability, and total immersion, allowing for the fastest drone racing pilots to emerge and become popularized.

Product – International Drone Federation • IDF Racing League Format: • Duration – (12) hour endurance drone races in twelve different locations on five continents. One final (24) hour endurance drone race in Abu Dhabi. • Driver Compensation – We will solve the dilemma of drone pilots being unable to pursue the sport full-time by providing (1) year $100,000 racing contracts at the DRP1 class and $50,000 at the DRP2 class to the worlds top 40 pilots, plus stipends for travel and lodging. • Viewing Innovation – The viewing standards across both series will include 360 degree spherical video using VR filming optimized for livestream and VR headsets. • Track Locations – The IDF will utilize the existing F1 Grand Prix global racing circuit, helping to diversify revenue for F1 tracks. Product – International Drone Federation • Product Innovation: • Hydrogen Fuel Cells – The use of hydrogen fuel cells will provide the leagues racing drones (4) hours of flight time, allowing for truly competitive races with fewer pit stops and more racing action. • Safety – Hydrogen fuel cells provide safety superior to gasoline powered Nascar or F1 styled vehicles due to the fact that spent hydrogen oxidizes to harmless water, and dissipates very quickly to incombustible levels, also rising extremely fast making it safer than traditional fuels. It is also not toxic to humans unless in extremely high concentrations, and produces little heat radiation. • Energy Density – Hydrogen fuel also provides superior energy density to natural gas and methane.
