6 TIPS FOR SPOT SOUL 1.

Instant recognition. Ami met her soul mate best friend 16 years ag a snarky joke and her friend was the only person who laughed. One thing they’re romantic or platonic, is that they will understand you better than understanding often occurs almost instantly, and it only gets deeper and What starts as a shared laugh at a snarky joke could lead to a lifetime of little moments of instant connection with people–you never know where

vici Coincidences surround you. When you’re spending time with pul your soul mate, you’ll notice that the world is like a highway just for talk you. There will be road signs guiding you on your route. There will be asid coincidences everywhere. If you say, “I love so-and-so song!” You’ll be but at a coffee shop one hour later and that song — as obscure as it may inst be — will be playing. If you’re talking about your mutual love of art “90210,” you’ll sit down to dinner at a restaurant and notice that the she dude sitting next to you is wearing a “90210? sweatshirt. If you’re ask playing Trivial Pursuit, you’ll pull out the same card two times in a pat row. These are all real-life examples, by the way. But you get the point: the universe is sending you little affirmations that the two of you are meant to be playing Trivial Pursuit together for the rest of You’re in the eternity. A feeling of urgency or magnetism. When you’re in the inity of a soul mate, you will probably feel drawn to them or lled toward them. You might feel a sense of urgency, like “I must k to that person RIGHT NOW.” It’s easy to toss these feelings de when they come out of nowhere or don’t seem to make sense, t do us a favor, OK? Even if it goes against all logic, act on those tincts. When Winona’s friend saw her soul mate walking into an gallery, she found herself instantly transfixed on him. If you’re not into psychic mumbo jumbo, fine, but you may find yourself having some kind feeling like you’ve known this person forever.

To Breakup Or Not – Th

hat is the question

I was once in a relationship where it was nearly impossible to continue, but still I couldn’t get myself to leave. We had broken up a couple of times before, but it was never final. Wheneve we broke up, we would eventually get back together. I still felt like I loved this girl and still had hope that perhaps this relationship has a future. But boy was I wrong. I realized I was looking at the relationship from a completely different perspective. If I try to weigh the pros and cons of the relationship, I can always put the fact that I love her above all the bad things of the relationship. With a little research, I came across a book entitled “Too Good To Leave, Too Bad to Stay by Mira Kirshenbaum.” It resonated with my situation perfectly. Mira, uses a diagnostic approach to deciding whether or not you should stay in a relationship. You answer a few questions and you realize yourself whether or not you should breakup. Although, this article is not as detailed as the book, here are a few questions that helped me in my decision and I think most people can relate to. 1. Was The Relationship Ever Truly Great? If your relationship never felt great, then it probably never will in the future. I realized I was never truly happy in the relationship. I was just hoping things would get better. But again, I was wrong. 2. Do you have communication issues? It’s one thing to have communication problems. It’s an entirely different thing when your partner does not want to work on the communication issues. For me, we had a lot of issues because of misunderstanding and miscommunication. I was willing to work on my communication problem. But you can’t solve a communication problem in a relationship unless both partners decide to work on it. 3. Do they have a complete lack of desire or capability to change?

I do believe that you should accept your partner for who they are. But there are some things that you just can’t accept. It could be their smoking habit, or something serious like a drug or alcohol addiction. If they’ve tried multiple times and failed, or they just don’t have the desire to make any changes in their lives, then it’s best to just leave the relationship and don’t look back. 4. Did your partner hit you more than once?

Although this point doesn’t relate to me, I thought it was an important one to include in the list. If your partner laid hands on you then it’s quite obvious you should leave. But I know a lo of cases where people continue to stay in an abusive relationship. Everyone is allowed one mistake. However, if they hit you more than once, then you know that it’s only going to get worse and its better to breakup. 5. Is your self-esteem lower than before?

Relationships are supposed to help you nurture and grow in your life. However, a bad relationship actually drains you out and takes a toll on your self-esteem. If you find yourself less confident before and think your self-esteem is worse than it was, then you can rest assured that this relationship is not good for you. You must breakup, as soon as possible. This

Valentine’s Dinner for Two: I love casual date nights, so instead of putting pressure on yourself to make a reservation at a packed restaurant, get dressed up and go out on Valentine’s Day, I thought an intimate dinner and movie night at home would be the perfect solution. Keep things cozy and set up dinner on the coffee table.

Valentine’s Dinner for Friends: Celebrate the friendships in your life by inviting your best girls over for dinner. What better opportunity to show your love and appreciation for them than on Valentine’s Day? Start by setting the table. I like to use a simple white tablecloth as my backdrop. It’s light, airy, and allows for any type of place settings. Then add a pretty runner, white plates, elegant flatware and decorative napkins.

WE

The Weekend By P. Elaine Archie Love is overrated, Nina and her friends often thought! Why is so much emphasis put on finding a good man? Well Nina wants this too. Has she accomplished her mission? Omar is sophisticated, handsome and well educated. She also finds out that he is very romantic and attuned to her feelings. What lies ahead for Nina and Omar? She had traveled many places, seen so many different things and had so many experiences. But she still had not obtained the one thing; so many women cherish to help complete their existence, a good man. She realized a woman did not necessarily need a man, but someone to spend quality time with or someone to spend the rest of her life with would be nice. Nina sat and thought about all the loves she had lost over the years in these different places she had traveled. None of them made her heart skip a beat or made her soul ache. She felt her prior relationship had shown some progress toward lasting, but yet again happiness had evaded her. Then she meets Omar. Where had he been hiding all her life? His voice was so sexy, and he was a cutie! He had coco brown skin, hazel eyes and short black curly hair. He was dressed in a brown Armani suit, with nice shoes and he was looking scrupulous, she licked her lips as she replied back “Hello”. The conversation was pleasing.

ELL KNOWN AUTHORIST Love and Lust Abound in “Gettin’ Caught Up Wit’ Nina” Steamy New Novel Follows One Woman’s Romantic Ups and Downs CYPRESS, Texas – Why is it so hard to find a good man? This is a question that many single women have asked at one point or another in their search for love, and a question that Nina – who has had her fair share of broken hearts and failed relationships – is desperately seeking an answer to in the intriguing new novel by P. Elaine Archie, Gettin’ Caught Up Wit’ Nina: The Weekend Part II (published by AuthorHouse). A sequel to Archie’s 2006 debut, The Weekend (also published by AuthorHouse), Getting’ Caught Up Wit’ Nina follows the title character through her ups and downs with Omar and the other loves – and lusts – of her life after her divorce and subsequent move back to Texas. Full of steamy love scenes and plenty of drama, Gettin’ Caught Up Wit’ Nina examines the life of a single woman who is gaining her independence, searching to find herself while supporting her kids through college, and discovering that she is still young enough to have some fun. Nina reflected back on her definition of a good man. This is a good time to give you “N and L’s” definition of what a good man is. It is a man that is centered and grounded in the Lord. One that knows he is supposed to be the head of the family and should guide his partner toward their common goal of enjoying life and raising a family. A partner that is compatible and made just for you or for me. A partner that is supposed to be with you as you travel down the road of life along with all the bumps and hills. To share in each others hopes and dreams. A soul mate. En route to finding this “soul mate,” Nina must deal with her new role as Executive Editor of EbSoul magazine, her cheating ex-boyfriend’s unrelenting attempts to weasel his way back into her life and a trip with her girlfriends that leads to a secret rendezvous with an old friend that could change her feelings for Omar. While all of this is going on, Nina also has to contend with family drama knocking at her door and a string of break-ins at her office. After talking with Omar, she discovers that he has also had some problems around his office and home. Who could be stirring up trouble for both of them? Is Nina the victim or is it Omar? Time tells all in the fresh and exciting world of Gettin’ Caught Up Wit’ Nina. P. Elaine Archie grew up in Taylor, Texas. She has worked in the banking industry for the past 16 years and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix. In her spare time, Archie loves to read, travel and spend quality time with her grandchildren, children and friends.

Valentine's Day with the Family

Call the holiday “Family Day”—a day devoted to love is the perfect time to celebrate family! Here are a few suggestions for making your “Family Day” a loving affair:

Tell a love story: Tell the kids one of the reasons that you fell in love with your spouse, in front of them.

Go on a family date: Is there a family event or place that your kids enjoy where you can all be together? We love going bowling or to an indoor trampoline center where we can burn some energy and just hang out together.

Send a Valentine to someone who would least expect it: An elderly neighbor, the post office delivery person, the cashier at the store, or have your kids come up with some ideas of who to send them to! Make a Valentine tree: Gather pink, red, or a variety of colored construction paper, cut papers into heart shapes, and hang them on the branches of a winter tree in your yard. You can also collect several bare branches, spray paint them white, place them in the corner of a room in a large vase, and hang the beautiful hearts inside.

Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day Poems My First, My Last, My Valentine I've never imagined that there can be this day. A day that love will find its way. Out of my heart and into your soul. These feelings I have are beyond my control. All my life I have waited patiently. For a goddess like you, so beautiful, so lovely. Words can't express the way I feel. These feelings towards you are all for real. You are the reason why I go on. Eternity can't separate this special bond. This heart of mine is reserved for you. Forever it is yours, this love is true. I'll be your first and you'll be my last. My world, my everything, till my time has past. I will always love you until the end of time. MY LOVE, MY SWEETHEART, MY VALENTINE!

Source: http://www.familyfriendpoems. Snowflake Kisses Upon the earth the snow kisses Glittering flakes drop as the ice glistens My soul has awaken and now my heart listens In my mind your voice whispers When I close my eyes at night I dream of you When I awake to the morning dew I think of you Somehow I feel in your arms is where I belong I've waited for someone like you for so long Now my heart beats with a happy rhyme Couldn't have asked for a better Valentine

You Are

As we watch the sun go down, I want to let you know; my love for you is forever, I'll never let you go. You're the one I've been searching for, the one I've finally found; without you in my life, my world wouldn't go round. The love you bring into my heart, which is so true and kind; is something in no other, I could truly find. You're the only one for me, God tells me so, deep within my heart, mind body and soul. Today isn't just an ordinary Valentines Day, it's all about me and you; about the love we share, and how it will forever continue to grow. It's not all about the chocolates, or the dozen roses; it's about the love we found, how much we've been blessed. Everything happens for a reason, I believe this statement is true, that's why you were sent to me, and I was sent to you. I've never been more happy, as I've been with you; even through the rough times, we always make it through; To be with you for eternity, is all I want for me and you. All I want to say, on our very first Valentine's Day, is: I may not be your first love, but I promise, with all my heart, that I will be that one from up above, your one and only, true love! Thought to be 35 million years old, "species" roses are called "nature's roses" because they're the source of all other rose varieties. Their simple flowers often have only a simple row of petals. The Apothecary's Rose was identified in literature as early as the 14th century but could be older. This rose gets its name because it was used heavily in medieval medicine. The Romans' favorite rose was 'Autumn Damask.'

SPECIES ROSES

The result of nature's own matchmaking and man's early efforts to cross one rose with another, old garden roses offer a glorious diversity of delicate blooms, colors and fragrance. The York and Lancaster Rose is a 16th-century rose linked by legend to England's War of the Roses. In 1800, roses from China arrived and were bred with European roses. From this union came the first true red rose. China tea roses introduced an all-new rose shape. The famous pioneer rose called 'Harrison's Yellow' is the rose that grows along the old pioneer trails from east to west across America.

OLD GARDEN ROSES

These are invented or hybridized roses bred by professionals seeking to create brand-new rose varieties. They are a mix of classes including shrubs, miniatures, floribundas, grandifloras and hybrid teas. The first modern rose was introduced in 1867 and is called 'La France.' The favorite rose of London before World War I was the

MODERN ROSES

ALL ABOUT THE ROSES!!!!

Tricks to Extend the Life of Your Roses Roses can last a week or more if you take care of them right says florist Greg Ansley. Always cut your stems under water at an angle with a sharp nonserrated knife. This gives the rose more absorption area to pull in water. Place the stems in warm water, abut 94 degrees F. Never have leaves or thorns underwater because that will cause bacteria to grow. Change the water every day. Recut the roses every other day. Growing Roses Here are the basics for successful rose gardening: Sun — 6-8 hours of sun each day Water — give a daily drink of water but don't drown them Fertilizer — good well-balanced fertilizer twice a year

Selection — The most important thing is to select a rose that will thrive in your climate. Albas, for instance, are likely to survive coolest winters and are very tough when it comes to drought and shade. Hybridizing You can make new roses by crossing one rose variety with another. Here's how: 1. Designate a pollen parent and a seed parent. 2. Take pollen from the pollen parent and apply it to the stigmas of the female seed parent with a paintbrush. 3. If it takes, in about three months the rose hip swells and ripens.

4. Take the hip off, open it up, get the seeds out and plant them in little peat pots. Then you've got new baby roses. In about a year, you'll get your first bloom.
