Welcome.
As master of Queen Victoria and Commodore of the fleet, I’m deeply proud of every crew member who sails on our magnificent three Queens. All of us are committed to making sure that, through our unparalleled White Star Service, no matter whether you are enjoying your very first Cunard cruise or are a valued regular Cunarder, you will enjoy exceptional service and attention to detail throughout your voyage. During all the years I’ve been on the bridge and walked the decks of the Cunard fleet I thought I had experienced the absolute pinnacle of sea faring luxury, but that was before I saw the remastered Queen Mary 2. The changes made to her take what is an already superb vessel to a whole new level of luxury and I’m pleased to see she has kept echoes of classic ocean liner style, and our long maritime tradition. And with Queen Victoria’s refit in 2017, there are more exciting developments still to come. All three ships, I’m sure, will draw admiring glances wherever they travel around the globe, from metropolises like New York and Sydney to more adventurous journeys such as our calls to Reykjavik, Iceland and Narvik, Norway. But rather than me telling you about the wide variety of exceptional destinations offered within these pages I will leave you to discover them for yourself, and I look forward to seeing you on board soon. Commodore Christopher Rynd

Queen Mary 2
Queen Mary 2.
Where does one start with our majestic flagship? It’s not for nothing that she’s the most famous ocean liner in the world. Her sheer scale and elegance see to that. Encompassed within her graceful lines are 15 restaurants and bars, five swimming pools, a full-sized theatre, a casino, a Canyon Ranch SpaClub®, a 3D cinema, a full scale floating planetarium and the largest dance floor at sea. She even has kennels to accommodate our four-legged guests in style on Transatlantic Crossings. For lovers of fresh sea air, there are acres of deck space and - as on all three Cunard Queens - a traditional promenade deck that circumnavigates the ship. As well as an incredible feat of engineering, she’s a fine art gallery. More than five thousand commissioned works hang in her public spaces and staterooms including specially commissioned photographs of historic Cunard buildings in Liverpool, Southampton and New York.
Where you can visit aboard Queen Mary 2. From May 2018, our flagship offers a number of seven night Transatlantic Crossings, as well as cruises to Northern Europe, Canada and New England, and short cruises from Southampton. She will then finish off an adventurous year with sailings to the beautiful islands of the Caribbean.
Queen Mary 2 Remastered. In Summer 2016, the Cunard flagship underwent a major refurbishment that further refined and refreshed guest interior spaces and experiences. All existing suites and staterooms on board have received a complete makeover, as have the Grills and Britannia Club restaurants and the Kings Court buffet. This refit also introduced the stylish new Carinthia Lounge and specialty dining restaurant, The Verandah, offering premium French menus. Accommodation developments include 15 new Single staterooms and 30 Britannia Club Balcony staterooms as well as 12 new kennels for our four-legged friends to enjoy on Transatlantic Crossings.

Queen Victoria
Queen Victoria.
Queen Victoria has her own distinct personality and feel. Her classical décor has an Edwardian elegance – warm-toned and plush - executed with Cunard’s hallmark flair. She’s also the holder of several firsts. The first Cunard ship to have a female Captain - Inger Klein Thorhauge – and the first in the world to offer private boxes at sea in the Royal Court Theatre. Fans of Queen Victoria – and they are legion – often remark on her unusual cosiness. Because, while she’s every inch a grand ship in terms of size and decor, she has a particularly warm and intimate feeling throughout. In June 2017 Queen Victoria will undergo a refit which will introduce brand new Britannia Club Balcony staterooms and a single seating Britannia Club restaurant.
Where you can visit aboard Queen Victoria. From March 2018 Queen Victoria will offer a range of cruises from Southampton to the scenic coast of Iberia and the Atlantic Isles, the rugged landscapes of Northern Europe and the Mediterranean with its ancient ruins, bustling modern cities and stunning beaches. If you’re looking for something a little different, Queen Victoria’s British Isles or Icelandic escape could be perfect for you. Between September and October she will also offer a short fly-cruise programme, giving you the chance to experience more of the most beautiful and glamorous ports in the region.

Queen Elizabeth
Queen Elizabeth.
Christened by her namesake Her Majesty the Queen in 2010, and the newest of our fleet, Queen Elizabeth’s design pays tribute to the Art Deco tradition. The heyday of Hollywood glamour is instantly evoked by her elegant wood panelling, gleaming chandeliers, marble flooring and beautiful decorative touches. Nowhere more so than in the triple-height Grand Lobby, its sweeping staircase dominated by a stunning marquetry-panelled portrait of the original RMS Queen Elizabeth, in a design created by The Queen’s nephew, Viscount Linley. For relaxation the ship’s architects created the Garden Lounge - a large conservatory, based on the famous hothouses of Kew Gardens - and a unique Games Deck, where you can enjoy the gentle pastimes of croquet, bowls and paddle tennis.
Where you can visit aboard Queen Elizabeth. Queen Elizabeth will offer a range of cruises from Southampton from May 2018 to the Atlantic Coast, Iberia and the Atlantic Isles, and Northern Europe, including Norway’s glassy fjords and electric blue glaciers and many great cities around the Baltic Sea. She will also cruise the warm waters of the Mediterranean, calling at many of the most glamorous ports in the region. Queen Elizabeth also offers you the chance to explore the stunning landscapes of Iceland, the British Isles and Ireland.

Dine where your mood takes you.
If anything sums up the freedom of your cruise, it is the array of places to eat, from healthy to hearty, from light bites to haute cuisine. The only challenge is deciding what to order, when so much catches the eye. You’ll find classics like tender lobster or melt-in-the-mouth chateaubriand. Often what’s on offer reflects where you are in the world - as our chefs make use of fresh, local ingredients. Whether your accommodation means you’re dining in the Britannia Restaurant or the Princess Grill or Queens Grill Restaurant, everything is beautifully presented and offered with wines that complement your choice perfectly. You’ll also find many tempting vegetarian dishes and we’ll happily cater for most special dietary requirements. On board all three ships, buffet-style dining is available throughout the day and until late evening, and room service is available 24 hours a day. For those more informal lunches, the ever-popular
12
Golden Lion Pub welcomes you with traditional gastro-pub fare. Our famous Afternoon Tea is served in the Queens Room by white gloved waiters at 3.30pm sharp. Enjoy live music alongside your freshly baked scones, mouth-watering sandwiches and delicious cakes.
Dining ‘out’ is always an option. For a modest supplement, you can have a change of culinary scenery from your main restaurant, and ‘dine out’.
By evening, the Kings Court buffet on Queen Mary 2 and the Lido buffet on Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, offer alternative dining options on a rotating basis, including Italian, Indian, Pan Asian, Mexican and American Smokehouse menus. On all ships, The Verandah presents French specialities during the day and evening. At dinner it also offers an acclaimed multiple-course tasting menu – an unforgettable culinary experience that’s truly worth skipping lunch for.
Dining and Britannia experience Britannia Restaurant, Queen Elizabeth
The Britannia experience.
Sparkling wine welcomes you into your home-from-home, which ranges in size from 152 – 243 square feet. All of our double Britannia staterooms boast king-sized beds - or twins, if you’d prefer - and our Single staterooms offer large single beds. Your steward is always available for help and advice - while round-the-clock complimentary room service keeps you refreshed and replete. As well as a flatscreen TV, generous storage and a mini-bar, you’ll have use of complimentary Penhaligons toiletries, bathrobes and slippers - and every evening there’s a turndown service with a chocolate on your pillow. The Britannia Restaurant epitomises everything the Golden Age of travel was about - and still is - aboard a Cunard Queen. Dining here always feels like an event. The buzz of your fellow guests, all with the day’s stories to share, the
drama of the double-height room, with its sweeping staircase. Whether you’re seated at 6pm or 8.30pm, the pace is unhurried, the service impeccable and the food superb. The restaurant is also open for breakfast and lunch.
Britannia Club. Our Britannia Club staterooms on Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth (and on Queen Victoria from June 2017) come with a roomy private balcony and a pillow menu, for those with very particular requirements to achieve the perfect night’s sleep. You’re welcome to dine whenever you choose between 6.30pm and 9pm, in the dedicated
Britannia Club restaurant – the perfect setting for those who prefer a more intimate dining experience.
Single staterooms. The Single staterooms on all three Queens offer individual travellers the opportunity to enjoy more space to themselves. Each Single stateroom offers comfortable accommodation with generous sized single beds, spacious bathrooms and comfortable lounge areas. Guests enjoy dining in the Britannia Restaurant each evening and plenty of social opportunities throughout the day.

Each day you’re on board offers almost endless opportunities to try something new. Hot-foot it to a tango lesson or spend the afternoon socialising in a Martini mixology class. one of the 6,000 books in the largest libraries at sea. Take a stroll around the promenade deck - perhaps you’ll spot a dolphin or two. Or simply people watch from the comfort of a poolside hot tub. The luxurious Royal Spas on board Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth and the Canyon Ranch SpaClub® on Queen Mary 2 can lift you to another level of relaxation - a quiet retreat offering a tempting range of indulgent treatments. Or perhaps get a head start on tonight’s crème brûlée at our well-appointed fitness hub and gym.
Our experienced personal trainers are also available to help push you beyond your comfort zone. Of course, for those preferring to take in the fresh ocean air, there’s always the option of a power walk or jog around the promenade deck. Whatever you’re drawn to, you need no invitation. Creating your own to-do list from all of the day’s possibilities is just part of the fun. As is sharing your findings with fellow guests – people who could become tomorrow’s croquet companions, bridge buddies and fellow cocktail connoisseurs.
Days and nights on board
You never looked lovelier.
Evenings on board offer so many pleasures. Deciding where to dine, choosing whether to dance, mingle or take in a show. And then there’s the fun of dressing for the occasion. Formal nights usually involve a themed Ball and account for about a third of your days on board. Many of our guests sail with Cunard precisely because they love a reason to step out in style. For the other, informal evenings the dress code is smart yet relaxed – think jackets but no ties and cocktail dresses. Guests who prefer to dress more casually are always very welcome to dine in the Lido restaurants or Kings Court and to unwind for the evening in the Carinthia Lounge, Winter Garden or Garden Lounge.
Our full-sized Royal Court Theatres are the setting for West End-calibre shows. Some nights feature singers or comedians - other times you might catch an abridged classical drama or a high-stepping musical. On board Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria you can even be served Champagne in your own private box – the very first of their kind at sea. For those who are feeling lucky, the casino awaits. Or you can kick up your own heels on the beautiful sprung dance floor in the Queens Room ballroom - where our themed Balls are held – or in one of our nightclubs.
As you wander the ship, live music is around every corner, from jazz ensembles to solo harpists to classical recitals. While the quizzes and karaoke nights in the Golden Lion pub always draw a lively, informal crowd. The night, as they say, is yours.

Transatlantic Crossings. Cunard ships have been crossing the Atlantic to and from New York since 1847, when we established the first ever regular service. Today, only Queen Mary 2 regularly makes this journey and not only does it remain as glamorous and exciting as ever but it also remains one of travel’s most iconic experiences. That’s partly because a Transatlantic Crossing offers so much possibility. It’s a welcome chance to leave the everyday world behind, to escape into a new world of pleasure and excitement and yet feel utterly relaxed. Most of all it’s an invitation to make a unique and dramatic arrival into – or departure from – the world’s most exciting city. Our magnificent flagship is uniquely suited to ensuring you have a holiday of a lifetime, with so much space and so many experiences to chose from, including the planetarium, 3D film screenings, RADA drama workshops, the largest library at sea and the incredible Canyon Ranch SpaClub®. As you would expect, the cuisine is exquisite and at night you can anticipate a whirl of West End style shows, live music and dancing to the orchestra in the Queens Room.

Transatlantic Crossings
Days you’ll love as you cross the Atlantic.
Between New York and Southampton, whichever way you travel, you have six whole days in which to lose yourself to the countless charms of our flagship. The beauty of it all is that every moment is yours to do exactly what you want. You can be sociable all day long, or find your own quiet corner. You can stay active from dawn until dusk, or just enjoy the glorious leisure. It’s your holiday, it’s up to you. But here are a few ideas of how you might spend those daytime hours.
Simply taking it easy. If you’ve never been on Queen Mary 2 before, there’s the opportunity to experience a virtual adventure to distant galaxies in the only planetarium at sea. Stroll around the Maritime Quest historical exhibit on a self-guided tour around her decks. How about some holiday reading? You’ll definitely find a page-turner in the largest library at sea. There is normally a movie showing in the afternoon, occasionally in 3D. Now feels like the perfect time to indulge in the blissful wraps, massages or cleansing body scrubs at the Canyon Ranch SpaClub®. Soon enough it will be time for our famous Afternoon Tea, served with freshly baked scones and mouth-watering sandwiches. You can set your watch by it, and it’s beautifully presented as always by white gloved waiters. 22
A chance to challenge yourself. You’ll soon work up an appetite at a Yoga, Tai Chi or Pilates class, with a brisk walk or jog along the Promenade Deck or in the fully equipped Fitness Centre. When you’re in the mood for a little friendly competition there are tournaments throughout the day, from quizzes to quoits, from table tennis to Bridge, and from darts to our own decathlon. Today it’s time to see if there’s a masterpiece waiting inside you at a watercolour class. Cookery demonstrations and wine tasting classes are on the menu as well.
Our Insights enrichment programme. Rubbing shoulders with leading lights reaches new heights on a Transatlantic Crossing. You can hear history brought to life, meet a musical idol or hear the secrets of entrepreneurs. That author you admire is hosting a question and answer session, your chance to find out who was their inspiration for a certain character. You can also improve your stage presence during the popular acting workshops led by RADA graduates.
On your first evening aboard, as you edge away from Southampton or New York, you may find yourself on deck as the adventure begins. Ahead lies uninterrupted ocean and seven nights that will be filled with music, dancing, laughter and priceless moments that will stay with you for years to come. A sense of occasion every evening. There’s nothing quite like watching the sun set from the scenic Commodore Club, clinking flutes in the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar or the social hubbub of the Captain’s Cocktail reception. What’s on the menu tonight? Chateaubriand or sea bass at your reserved restaurant table, reservations at The Verandah restaurant to sample fine dining with a French flavour, or relishing every mouthful at the alternative dining venues.
Feeling richly entertained. Tonight, you may have decided to join a star party on deck where a Fellow from the Royal Astronomical Society will guide you through the constellations. You may anticipate the curtain going up at the Royal Court Theatre for another glittering performance. If you love energetic musical numbers, you’re in the right place too. Viva Italia! – celebrating the country’s music, style and culture – and the sensational Apassionata are among the offerings.
Equally, stand-up comedy, a magician or a late-night film might be your ideal evening viewing. The Golden Lion Pub is where you can enjoy an evening of live piano and singing, or where you can try some karaoke. Of course, the Empire Casino always invites you to test your luck against the roulette wheels and blackjack tables.
Transatlantic Crossings
Evenings you’ll always remember.
Music and dancing all the way. Live music will be the backdrop to your Transatlantic Crossing. There are always string quartets, pianists and harpists to entertain you around the ship. A jazz trio ups the tempo in the Chart Room this evening, or you can take your seat for a classical recital in Illuminations. Occasionally we host our very own Last Night Of The Proms with the National Symphony Orchestra, every bit as colourful and lively as the real thing. In the Queens Room, the full orchestra fills the floor, whether on Big Band nights or at the dazzling Ascot ball, when you can put today’s tango lessons to good use. Of course you can always ‘stay out’ late at the G32 nightclub, open into the small hours.

Mediterranean cruises from Southampton. The Mediterranean is a perfect holiday destination in so many ways. Around the sea where so many countries meet, your cruise can match your interests wherever you touch shore. Sailing from Southampton means you can enjoy all that your ship has to offer the moment you embark, and your holiday doesn’t end until you step foot back in Southampton. Setting a course to the western Mediterranean, highlights include Barcelona, where the lively Las Ramblas is full of quirky ‘human statue’ street performers and the imprint of Gaudí is everywhere, with his signature undulating roofs and multicoloured mosaics. Over in Italy, you could discover the Renaissance riches of Pisa, with its famous bell tower, or irresistible, treasure-laden Florence. No. of nights
You could even weave among beautiful legend-filled Greek Islands to the Turkish coast where ancient Kusadasi has been at the heart of art and culture for 5,000 years. The Roman ruins at nearby Ephesus attest to the area’s place in history – the façade of the Library of Celsus being a particular highlight. In 2018, four ports are entirely new to Cunard. The beautiful harbour of Propriano on the south-west coast of Corsica combines exclusive yachts, modest boats, shops, cafés and bars. Giardini Naxos on the northeastern coast of Sicily makes it easy to reach the stunning clifftop town of Taormina, with

its Greco-Roman amphitheatre close to Mount Etna. Mahon is the capital of Menorca, and its delightfully low-key capital is a jumble of shaded squares and an elegant promenade overlooking a yacht-filled harbour. Across in the Adriatic, the island of Hvar introduces you to Croatia’s crystal clear waters, the orange roofs of its main town and a rich green interior. Queen Elizabeth makes two maiden visits, to beautiful medieval Sibenik on Croatia’s Adriatic shores, while from Sorrento, you can explore the dreamy Amalfi coast where picturesque towns cling to the cliffs.

Northern Europe cruises. Northern Europe offers an array of cultural riches and spectacular landscapes to discover. And the further north you venture, the more rugged and dramatic the scenery becomes. Stockholm reclines across 14 islands, and its old town, its palaces and its royal pageantry always delight. In Copenhagen the Little Mermaid will be a draw, so too the numerous galleries and museums. Other Scandinavian visits include Skagen, perched on the most northerly tip of Denmark, renowned for its remarkable light that attracted artists and tourists alike in the late 19th century. New for 2018 is the Swedish city of Visby, with Viking roots and later part of the Hanseatic League, it’s the best preserved fortified medieval commercial city in northern Europe. The Estonian capital Tallinn appears to have risen directly from the pages of a fairytale, with its exceptionally well preserved medieval Old Town and A

imposing Toompea – the castle-like district in the centre of the city. A new discovery in 2018 is Riga, the Latvian capital, filled with picturesque wooden buildings dating back to the Middle Ages. We also visit the Lithuanian city of Klaipeda for the first time, while Kiel and Gdynia make maiden visits for Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth respectively. A highlight for many travelling in Northern Europe is Russia’s cultural capital, St Petersburg, where we always stay overnight. A vision of tsarist palaces and cathedral domes, the city is also home to the world-renowned Hermitage Museum housed within the Winter Palace – our shore excursions can afford exclusive access after hours.

In 2018, we will add four calls stretched along the long Norwegian shore. In the southwest, Kristiansund sprawls across four islands joined by bridges, where the art nouveau Opera House and Kvalvik Fort are worth exploring. Slightly further north, you can explore Haugesund’s Viking heritage while inside the Arctic Circle stand two more cities, Bodo and Narvik, the beauty of their surroundings lit by the Midnight Sun. Queen Victoria will explore the UK and Ireland in 2018. This itinerary offers unique views of beautiful Scottish ports, Dublin, Liverpool and the Channel Islands plus a first-ever call at Killybegs for tours to Donegal and Portree on the Isle of Skye. Iberia, Atlantic Coast and Canary Island cruises. Scattered close to Africa’s northwestern shoulder, the Spanish and Portuguese Atlantic Isles continue to delight with their mild climate and astonishing scenery.
The garden isle of Madeira, bright with exotic flowers and fruits, offers a warm welcome while its wicker toboggans that run through the steep streets make for an unforgettable experience.

On the European mainland, Lisbon beguiles with its yellow trams and orange rooftops. The city has a strong connection to the sea and arriving by ship is the best way to visit. Cadiz, with its Moorish influences delights and Seville is easy to reach from here.
Diverse Tenerife offers numerous opportunities to explore. The more active may head to Mount Teide, the volcanic peak that is the icon of the Canary Islands. Nearby Lanzarote is known for its lunar-like landscapes and Gran Canaria for the golden dunes at Maspalomas.
Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria each sets off to France and Iberia in 2018, featuring La Rochelle and Gijon – both new for that year – and Bilbao, home to the stunning Guggenheim museum.
In 2018, we expand the number of places we visit on our Canary Islands discoveries, with a first-ever visit to Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura’s charming capital that’s dotted with statues. We also make a number

North America, Canada and Caribbean cruises. Along the coastline of New England and Canada, the rugged scenery is peppered with historic cities, summer resorts and quaint clapboard towns to explore. Or travel south to the enticing islands of the Caribbean, packed with natural beauty and vibrant spirit. New York pulses with a unique energy that has to be experienced, with Central Park, the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and the High Line clamouring for attention. Another favourite, Boston, played a key role in American Independence, a fact marked by historic buildings throughout the city. Further north, Sydney introduces you to ruggedly beautiful Nova Scotia, while Halifax delights with its star-shaped citadel. Québec is decidedly French
If you’re looking for winter sun, then the warm climate of the Caribbean is a natural draw. Antigua famously offers a beach for every day of the year, while Magens Bay on St Thomas is regarded among the most enticing
stretches of sand anywhere. Snorkelling opportunities are in plentiful supply too, with reefs teeming with colourful fish, while jungle, waterfalls, and fields of sugar cane create beautiful landscapes. In late 2018, Queen Victoria will visit two islands for the first time; Fort-de-France, capital of the French island of Martinique, and Kingstown, the main town on the small but perfectly formed island of St Vincent.

Bruges
Short cruises.
A short cruise of two to five nights aboard a Cunard ship offers a wonderful way to take well-earned break, with a dash of exploring too. Our short cruises sail roundtrip from Southampton with visits to France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Criss-cross the canals in Amsterdam or let Zeebrugge be your gateway to the grand boulevards of Brussels and its charming Grand Place. Bruges is surely one of the most beautiful old cities in the world, and serves up delicious local beer and chocolates – not to mention a wonderful Christmas market in the festive season.

Most two night departures are between Southampton and Hamburg. In this elegant and vibrant city the Rathaus, the town hall crowned with a 160-foot tower, deserves a visit. So does St Michael’s Church with its distinctive brick and iron tower. Music lovers may stop by the Indra Club where, in 1960, the Fab Four first played together as The Beatles.
French culture, sightseeing and a taste of classic cuisine. Shore excursions are available in each of these ports to enrich your time here. It’s easy to plan ahead at cunard.co.uk, and you can even book shore excursions through our Voyage Personaliser.
Alternatively, explore the beautiful city of Paris (from Le Havre) for a slice of
