Cross the road and walk over to the State Library:

Walk three intersections down the street:

Catch a tram from Bourke Street and get off at the second stop:

When you arrive at the stop decide to go left (to Flinders Street Station) or right (to Feds Square):

Make your way down to the pathway under the bridge. Head towords the bridge with the arch on your right, cross over it:

After viewing, walk along the the bay, in the opposite direction you came in, try and participate in the informal performances and activities along the bay:

Keep walking, cross over the pedestrian bridge and catch tram no. 35 from stop no. 2 heading away from the city.

PATHWAY TWO: Flagstaff Station

When you arrive, cross over and walk towards the gardens. Take some time and explore the space and relax on the grass:

Go to the underpass and go down to the station. Head towards platforms 1 or 3. Get off at the second stop and head up to Nicholason Street:

Once you reach the street, head to the nearby church, reflect and pay your respect to the lord. Explore the grounds and head to the long waterfall:

La Trobe Street The Gardens Catch a tram at stop no. 6 in the direction of Elizebath Street. Stay on and get off on the 3rd stop:

After the church, head to the main street and catch a tram from stop no. 10 and get off at the third stop. Head to the finish line at the State Library:

Starts from Bourke street, walk down the street, 1 block dwon from the right hand side. Catch any tram from Stop no. 3:

Get off at the fourth stop, head towards the market. Explore / document and take part in the informal urban practices you encounter. When finished head back the way you came and finish at the State Library:

DESIGN STATEMENT The Urban Treasure Hunt final presentation documents the practices taken place within the CBD.

Location Seven A place where you can gamble your troubles away

Location Nine The Queen of all theatre’s, where Mary Poppins is playing

Location Eleven Home of the master pieces, off St. Kilda Rd

Location Eight Where transportation, V Line and DFO all come together

Location Ten What building holds the most stories

This is an urban game that guides the users along a path to experience the various informal urban practices and locations along the way. The users pick up different treasures at each location i.e. the treasure is the experience. This game took place along 3 pathways, which were predetermined by us. Each pathway takes the users on a journey to different locations with the help of instructions by either a booklet or audio tour, whichever they may wish to choose to complete the Urban Treasure Hunt.
