Doncaster
The trip to Doncaster was interesting in that this area has no lack of space. This meant that nearly every activity has its own space that is devoted to it. However the biggest informal practices were generally to do with a lack of space in a key location, and thus open spaces such as car parks and nature strips were sometimes used for things other than there intended purposes. Activities of a sporting nature, as well as those of a shopping nature proved to be the most common. However in better weather I have a feeling that many more spontaneous activities and informal would have taken place in the streets
Graffiti or “tags were written over many power poles in the area. Proposed Change: The pole could be turned into a street local advertising pole, a place for flyers and adverts

Car parks were used to store things that there simply was not room for. Trolleys for the most part. Proposed change: a small trolley depot would make a difference.
Carpark stowage
Car parks were used for all manner of things. Other than being carparks . Proposed change: A small fenced off area could serve as stowage while not getting in the way of carparks.

Rubbish that could not fit in the bin was simply left on the side of the road.

Basketball Parking
Car parks also had 4 square courts placed on them simply by rolling on some paint. Proposed change: Carparks and children don’t really go together very well in terms of safety. So the area could simply be fenced off
