All drink bottles brought into school should hold water only. Can all parents continue to keep staff fully informed with arrangements for collecting children from the school gate. Any changes in arrangements should be given to the school office and this will be passed to the class teacher.

SCHOOL WEBSITE www.westpark.hartlepool.sch.uk Can I remind all parents and carers that the school website is being continually updated thanks to support from Miss Sheldrick and Jeff Newton , a parent who has supported the school for a number of years. We try to include important dates, newsletters and other useful information. Your feedback regarding the content is always appreciated.

TEXT MESSAGING Our text messaging service is most useful to both staff and parents. Please ensure that mobile phone numbers are up to date if you want to receive our latest texts and up to date messages and information.

WEST PARK SOLAR SCHOOL We are steadily collecting the votes we need, which hopefully will make a positive contribution to our bid to become the town’s first solar school. Any savings which can be made will obviously release funds from the school budget which can be spent directly on the children and their education rather than on electricity bills! For those parents and carers who have not yet voted, the email address to access the site is: https://www.mandsenergyfund.com/project/28356/
