Built in 1906 as a ‘Palace of Business’ and originally the headquarters for one of the most powerful railway companies in England. The Grand, York now boasts some of Yorkshire’s finest meeting rooms and event spaces the UK has to offer.

With seven versatile meeting rooms, The Grand can hold events for up to 140 delegates in their largest room, The Grand Boardroom. This flagship room boasts floor-to-ceiling wood panelling, an original parquet floor, and huge windows overlooking York Minster and the City Walls.

The best of British cuisine is served in The Rise Restaurant, a AA Rosette awarded contemporary setting with innovative dishes created by Executive Chef Nicolas De Visch.
