After achieving positive results within the company, I was called to manage the "flagship" hotel, the Rosa Grand Milan. My commitment to the company was focused on boosting the luxury attitude and re-positioning the Hotel within luxury brands and properties in the City.

STARHOTELS COLLEZIONE – Luxury brand collection of 5 stars hotels in within Italian hotel company with 12 properties located in the main Italian cities, Paris, London, and New York. As Director of Operations, and in the absence of a Managing Director in the company at the time, I was heavily involved in the acquisition process of three boutique hotels in London, the first acquisitions in the UK for Starhotels. I conducted the due diligence on behalf of the company and assessed the overall feasibility, solvency and sustainability of the takeover. Once the acquisition was made, I was transferred to London and asked to oversee the transition process and prepare the hotels to fully bring them into the fold of Starhotels. My duties included:

• The supervision of all daily operations

• The evaluation and management of all 134 employees, and feasibility analysis for a future cluster set up

• The control and optimization of all costs, involving the control of all existing contracts.

• Negotiations with existing representation company (Design Hotels) and evaluation of the performance

• Implement Starhotels SOP in both operational hotels and cross-selling activities.

• Training of hotels’ staff and implementation of Starhotels Standards

• Supervise daily revenue management meetings.

• Supervision of the construction site of the hotel set to open by March 2015

• Recruiting for the 2015 opening

• Liaise with corporate Sales, Revenue, Marketing and PR team in Italian head office.

STARHOTELS Collezione Castille Paris - 5-stars boutique hotel, 108 luxury rooms including 21 suites, located in the exclusive and legendary Coco Chanel’s Street, among the three famous square of Paris: Vendome, Concorde, and Madeleine. The hotel, which was recently refurbished, evokes an elegant atmosphere in a contemporary style.

Took over the role of General Manager of the Castille Paris, for 3 months, upon resignation of the former General Manager, and prior to the hiring of the new one.

My duties, aside of preparing the handover, included, but were not limited to managing the entire staff of the hotel, review and streamlining of all internal procedures, review of the hotel's Revenue strategy on a daily basis, conducted daily meetings with Sales staff, liaison with Head Office in Florence, supervise the day-to-day operations of the hotel, assure luxury attitude of the staff, public relations activities with in- house guest.
