SIGNIFICANT VETERINARY HISTORY:
23/09/2021 – As yearling, pain on palpation of both lateral suspensory branches of forelimbs Radiographs confirmed sesamoiditis. Exercise restricted.
04/11/2021 – Referred to hospital for investigation of an upper respiratory obstruction, fever and dorsal protrusion of the right side of the soft palate causing partial (right sided) palate displacement. Findings from nasal/oral endoscopy, radiographs and ultrasound, were consistent with a soft tissue mass enlarging the base of the tongue beneath the soft palate. Responded well to conservative management.
21/07/2022 – Radiographs of left hock revealed multiple small fragments (DIRT OCD) dorsomedially. Arthroscopy was conducted to remove the fragments.
17/11/2022 – Left stifle arthroscopy for lateral trochlear ridge OCD fragment removal.
28/01/2023 – Radiographs revealed cyst left stifle and was treated conservatively with an extended rest period. This gelding has been spelled the last two of preparations due to being very shin sore.
He currently has a long healing wound to his dorsomedial cannon of his right hindlimb. This has a healthy granulation bed and is now being treated as an open wound Image from 5/12/2024 attached
