HIS NAME GLORIFIED
In Isaiah 53, we read that Jesus “poured out” His life unto death. Verbs such as sprinkle or spray are avoided, their nature far too miserly and tight-fisted. Our Saviour fully surrendered His soul as an offering for sin, giving Himself freely without hesitation. He held nothing back, but rather ran into the arms of death, embracing the darkness, accepting the agony. His prize, would be you and I with Him for all eternity. Such, He found irresistible. During our crusade in BURGERSFORT, our Lord was once again rewarded for His labours, as men and woman said yes to Him! Our cover image shows a smiling new convert, her details being collected by an altar worker. May the report below thrill your heart, our precious partners whose prayers and giving made this crusade possible. Yours in His service, TAMRYN KLINTWORTH and the In His Name Team

Our crusade in BURGERSFORT, Limpopo was nothing short of glorious. The sound towers blasted the preaching far and wide, to the extent that we were told stories of people being touched by the power of God far from the crusade site, as they heard the Gospel proclaimed. Many travelled great distances to attend, sleeping in the tent pitched for follow-up purposes. From the first day to the last, we lifted the name of our Jesus on high, with thrilling results. Young and old surrendered their lives to Him in great numbers. The sick encountered the One who heals, and those in bondage, He who breaks the heaviest of chains. This is our Lord, this is our Jesus! Night after night, testimonies came pouring in. One young lady, 16-year-old Sedibe, was brought to the crusade by her mother. She had not been able to walk, talk or see since she had fainted at school earlier in the day, a strange paralysis overcoming her body. Hours spent at the local hospital yielded nothing. “The power of God touched me,” she testified, completely well. “I love Jesus and will serve Him always.” Andries (75) had been unable to stand on his one leg since the beginning of 2012. After prayer, he testified, “I am feeling fantastic!

I used to not be able to stand in church. I dragged my leg behind me. Tonight, I will sleep like a baby!” Lucy (47) had been suffering from such back pain for the past six months, that she was unable to walk long distances or even do her daily chores. “While the evangelist was preaching, I felt the pain disappearing,” she shared.“I became so happy, and started dancing!” Nyelende (42) had been walking with a crutch since last year, her legs weak and itching. “I could not even perform household tasks,” she said. “I felt the power of God as the evangelist was praying. I felt very strong and ready to walk again.” Having also accepted Jesus as Saviour, Nyelende will never be the same. Yet another who received both salvation and healing, was 65-year-old Lucas. “I have been suffering from leg and waist pains for eighteen years. I could no longer do any heavy work. During prayer, I felt something leave my body. I am completely healed and want to live for Jesus!” Our Fire Conference matched the crusade in intensity. For three mornings, local believers were taught how to be effective soul-winners. The conference climaxed on Saturday, with prayer for the baptism in the Holy Spirit. On the Saturday evening, we likewise prayed for the fire to fall during the crusade meeting. “I felt electricity moving through my body and spoke in tongues for the first time,” explained 20-year-old Racheal, still shaking from the power of His touch. Oupa (47) also testified, “I fell to the ground while we were praying and began speaking in other tongues.”

REMEMBER

“Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember?” – Mark 8 v 18 The above question was posed by Jesus, to His disciples. In Mark chapter 6, these followers of Christ had witnessed how 5000 people were supernaturally fed from five loaves and two fish. In Mark chapter eight, they had observed a similar phenomenon, with 4000 individuals being abundantly satisfied from seven loaves and a few small fish. Nevertheless, shortly following this second mighty miracle, the disciples doubted the ability of their Master to provide for their basic needs. “Do you not remember?”Jesus asked, imploring them to recall how

easily and willingly He had previously supplied. Today, dear friend, I do not know what challenge you may be facing. However, if you will only think back, I assure you that you will remember how the Lord has come to your rescue many times before. He was your deliverer then, He remains your deliverer still. His character never changes, His promises remain true. He saves not only from sin, but from all manner of pitfalls. And so, lift your eyes to Him, and remember. Remember until your heart swells with faith, until hope anchors your soul. He delights in coming to your aid, and shall continue to do so, until heaven is your home!
