A NOTE FROM TAMRYN Our crusade calendar for 2018 is well underway. A summarised report on our time in Hosaena, Ethiopia with a selection of beautiful pictures can be found below. Daily reports have been posted on inhisname.global and I encourage you to browse through these as well. Please also download my free e-booklet from our website entitled Make God Marvel. It will deepen your understanding of faith and inspire even greater confidence in Him. You are warmly invited to visit my blog, just launched. It can be viewed at tamrynklintworth.com. I have decided to call such In His Thoughts as it will be bursting with posts that give a window into my thoughts on His thoughts. May these posts inspire and challenge you to pursue Him with even greater devotion and passion. He is our Jesus. He is everything! Yours in His service, EV. TAMRYN KLINTWORTH and the In His Name Team
HOSAENA HAS BEEN FOREVER CHANGED! Our crusade in Hosaena, Ethiopia took place from 22-25 February. While the national government declared a state of emergency less than one week before the crusade began, we nevertheless pressed on in faith, determined that our time in Hosaena was wholly God-appointed. The crowd grew dramatically in size day after day, eventually swelling to over 60,000 in the final service. Jesus poured Himself out upon those flocking to experience His love and a floodtide of salvation followed. Tens of thousands became children of God, turning their backs on the devil and his sin-filled, fear-fuelled torments. Follow-up material (written by Ev. Tamryn and translated into Amharic) was distributed to 39,789 precious people who declared that they had accepted the Lord. Our ushers worked hard to complete decision cards and the pastors laboured to pull the new converts into the local churches. Hallelujah! While it was not the rainy season, we struggled a little with the odd downpour. The Lord was wonderfully faithful, however. Even though bad weather swept in towards the end of most services, nothing was negatively affected other than us often needing to cut short the hearing of testimonies. Our most eventful “confrontation” with the weather took place after the final service on Sunday evening. The weather had been fine throughout the Gospel message, a few dark clouds gathering in the distance. Ev. Tamryn returned to the stage to teach her last message on the Holy Spirit and pray for the fire baptism, when those clouds swept in like a typhoon. Leaving the

teaching, she jumped into the prayer. As the Spirit fell, the rain fell. Shouts and torrents of new tongues rose heavenward as the rain poured downward. Precious people were filled with His power. Some collapsed in the mud, overwhelmed. Demons manifested. It was perhaps the most chaotic – and certainly the wettest – Holy Spirit baptism we have ever experienced! We heard some wonderful healing testimonies during our time in Hosaena. A precious young lady named IBEBA had been suffering for three years from such severe ear infections in both ears that she could no longer hear properly. A constant migraine added to her suffering. The Lord touched her during prayer for the sick. She felt a foul presence leaving her head and her ears popped open, all pain vanishing, her hearing returning. A 12-year-old girl, ELROE, had suffered from epilepsy since she could remember. “During prayer, I fell down,” she explained, “and when I woke up again, I felt so light. The epilepsy has left me. I can feel it has left me.” A woman named BELETECH came forward and shared how after five years of horrible mouth pains, her doctor suspected she had cancer. She pressed her hand hard against her lips over and over again. “There is no more pain! I could not even touch my mouth lightly before. Now, I can feel no more pain!” A gentleman named FELKE had suffered a stroke which

left him reliant on a crutch to walk, unable to properly use his one side. Now, he has no more need of that crutch. Another man came forward bubbling with joy. Having struggled with hepatitis for years, he was in constant pain and could not eat certain foods. During the Saturday evening service, he felt the power of God touching him mightily and all pain disappeared. The next morning, the pain was still gone and wanting to test his healing further, he intentionally ate the types of food that would usually worsen his condition. Yet, he remained strong and without any discomfort. “I really am healed!” he declared. On the Sunday morning, all evangelical churches in Hosaena closed their doors and both pastors and congregation members flocked to the crusade field. Even the mayor attended. Together, we celebrated what our Lord had been doing in the crusade services. The pastors are so grateful. The chairman of the crusade committee is not only a pastor but a commander in the police force. “Thank you!” he said. “I love your Gospel. It is the pure Gospel of God.” It is indeed. We add neither frills nor fluff to it and we do not take anything away from it. It is the power of God. Heartfelt thanks, dearest friends for making this crusade possible. The fruit these meetings have borne is eternal. Hosaena has been forever changed!
