A NOTE FROM TAMRYN You will be abundantly blessed by the report that follows. Our recent crusade in Jinka, Ethiopia was awe-inspiring. Looking forward into the second half of the year, we rally ourselves for what lies ahead. Our next crusade will be held in Xigalo, a rural village community in the Limpopo province of South Africa (22 – 26 August). Prior to this, we will be in Maputo, Mozambique holding a conference to empower believers for red-hot evangelism endeavours. Our venue will be one of the biggest churches in the city (2 – 5 August). Our first Fire Night in Cape Town was fantastic (see page 3 of this newsletter) and more of these events will be held soon. Yes indeed, through your faithful support, the Gospel is going forth with fantastic results. Let us keep on keeping on in His matchless name! Yours in His service, EV. TAMRYN KLINTWORTH and the In His Name Team

JINKA TURNED UPSIDE DOWN FOR JESUS! What a time we had in Jinka, Ethiopia (31 May – 3 June). While planning our crusade there, we faced serious opposition from religious groups. Marketing material was vandalised and stones were thrown at volunteers. Eventually, these opposing groups put enough pressure on the local government so that our permit for the ground we had advertised was revoked the weekend before the crusade began. We suspect they did this in the hope that we would cancel the crusade entirely. Our team worked hard to spread word of the new ground and our intercessors prayed up a storm. On top of this, the rainy season began early this year. All the odds were against us – but our God worked wonders! What we witnessed was glorious. In a town with a population size of perhaps 50,000 (if that) our crowd swelled to 40,000 – the largest crowd in Jinka history! In addition, the rain barely disturbed us. As soon as our final service ended on Sunday evening, the heavens opened and it poured down with such vehemence that we only managed to fly out of Jinka three days later. No planes could land. Thousands responded to the Gospel in every service. Follow-up material was distributed to a spectacular total of 24,875 precious people who called on the name of the Lord for salvation and the pastors are hard at work following up all the decision cards collected. We held six services altogether: four evening meetings (Thursday – Sunday) and two morning meetings on the Saturday and Sunday. The Sunday morning meeting was a combined church service requested by the participating churches. What a privilege it was to spend

time with these believers. Persecution is rife in Jinka. One precious lady shared how attending the crusade meetings had resulted in her both losing her job and being cast out of the home in which she stayed. She is suffering for the sake of the Gospel and there are many, many more like her.

the Lord has done for me,” he voiced, overwhelmed. There are so many more miracles we could list here. In short, Jinka has been forever changed. The pastors can feel it, our team can sense it.

Prayer for the sick yielded fantastic miracles. A young man had been in a motorbike accident in 2007 that resulted in a broken left leg. The leg never healed properly and he had been unable to run or jump ever since. During one of our meetings, a divine operation took place. Leaping up and down and sprinting across the stage, he raised his hands to the heavens and glorified the Jesus who set him free. A pregnant woman shared how her baby had stopped moving. Petrified, she attended the crusade and cried out to the Lord during prayer. Now, her little one is kicking and on-the-go again! One lady had suffered from a tumour on her leg for the past five years that caused her such discomfort that she could not stand for lengthy periods. That tumour vanished. A youth named YOTHIAS received Jesus as Saviour. He had a tumour behind his right ear that resulted in that ear going deaf. The tumour is now gone and the ear can hear perfectly. “I cannot properly express what

Tamryn thoroughly enjoyed teaching on the Holy Spirit during three of the evening meetings, following the Gospel message. Each message was listened to with such attentiveness. After the final teaching, we prayed for the Holy Spirit baptism over an eager crowd of tens of thousands. Our God saturated men and women, young and old with Himself. An army has been equipped to go out into Jinka and its surrounding villages and preach Jesus with signs and wonders following. Hallelujah! Travelling back after the final evening meeting to our accommodation, a few of the pastors journeyed with us. The people had swarmed the streets on their way home, blocking traffic in the process, still dancing and singing. “We have turned Jinka upside down for Jesus!” the pastors expressed with great gusto. Yes, we have indeed! Heartfelt thanks, dear friends and partners. Your support has saturated yet another African community with the love and power of our Saviour King!

INTRODUCING FIRE NIGHTS Cape Town is currently fifteenth on the list of the most violent cities in the world, due to its homicide rate. It is the most violent city in South Africa. This is where Tamryn makes her home, together with her husband, André. The Lord placed a vision on her heart to team up with two other Cape Town based evangelists and hold monthly one night crusades in the most crime-infested areas of the city, when home from crusading in other parts of Africa. The evenings will not be branded with the name of any evangelistic ministry. Rather, the three evangelists will share the platform together as a show of unity, declaring that if the Body of Christ pulls together, any city – regardless how violent – can be saved! On these evenings, the Gospel will be preached and an altar call for salvation made. Healing and deliverance will be prayed for. Also, the baptism of the Holy Spirit and how to be used mightily by Him will be taught on and prayed for. The evenings will be called Fire Nights and are both for the unbeliever and believer. All shall leave in

love with Jesus and on fire for our God! The details of those saved during these meetings will naturally be collected and passed on to local pastors for follow up. The first of these evenings was held on Friday, 8 June in Ottery and the community hall rented was packed to capacity, standing room only (see pic). Salvation ruled and deliverance reigned. All we anticipated happened and then more. It was fantastic. Watch our online calendar for updates on our next Fire Night.
