A NOTE FROM TAMRYN “Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall come to thee,” a 12th century carol cites. We are rejoicing. Our Emmanuel has come. Our Emmanuel came to save – and He is saving still! Over this past year, our crusades in Majosi, Nwamitwa, Lukalo, Mulamula and Maputo have yielded a stunning total of 34 991 recorded decisions for Jesus. Be blessed by this latest newsletter, our final one for 2015. You will be thrilled by the latest crusade report and news of what is being planned for next year. Together with you, Africa is being won for our Saviour King. Such is a truth worth celebrating! Merry Christmas, dear friend. We love and appreciate you very much. Yours in His service, EV. TAMRYN KLINTWORTH and the In His Name Team
maputo on fire for jesus What a wonderful report we have for you, dear friends and partners! Our final crusade for this year was a glorious one. Such was the first city-based crusade we have held in some time. In fact, our team found it quite the novelty to be surrounded by buildings, rather than bushes and beasts. Night after night, thousands of precious people flooded a dusty soccer field in the bustling township of Hulene in Maputo, Mozambique. Salvation reigned, a glorious 2 073 men and women, young and old, accepting Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Such lives were turned from hell to heaven, from destruction and despair to God and His glory. Hallelujah! This is the reason we go. This is the reason we preach and this, we know, is the reason you send us.

Prayer for the sick every night resulted in a deluge of testimonies. At age 46, Maria struggled to move without pain. Her body was so stiff and sore that she needed to sit throughout the crusade service rather than stand. Her life was difficult, she did not feel like a normal person, she explained. During prayer, this precious woman had an encounter with Jesus, right there on her chair. Perfectly healed, she shared her miracle story on stage. Piedede (35) was delivered from terrible discomfort in her eyes. “It felt like there were stones in them,” she voiced. “God is in this place,” she exclaimed. “I am free, completely free!” A mother, Judith (26) with six-month-old baby, rejoiced over both her healing and that of her child.

Her arm she can now raise without any tenderness, her child can now breathe without any difficultly. Echezona (25) had a sharp pain in his back for two years. After prayer, he twisted his body and was surprised at the sudden disappearance of all discomfort. “I first thought it was a joke,” he exclaimed, “then I discovered my healing was real. I praise the name of the Lord!” Argentina (47) was known in the community as being sickly. A constant, terrible pain in her side had plagued her since 2010 and made her life quite unmanageable. “I am feeling so good, the pain is gone! I am healed, my life has changed.” Alberto (76) was also among the many who testified. Since last year, he has been unable to see out of one eye. During our crusade, all that changed. Thrilled, he shared news of his deliverance, bubbling with joy. Cedile (18) has suffered from intense and constant bladder pains since the birth of her son two years ago. Such were debilitating. During prayer, the torment utterly ceased. Glory be to our God! She also accepted Jesus, a greater miracle still. Artimiza (22) rejoiced over her newfound mobility. For the past four years, she had been unable to move her one arm and shoulder without intense pain. “I was

not even able to wash my clothes,” she expressed. Carrying out her duties as a domestic worker and caring for her son was distressingly difficult. “During prayer, my arm became very hot,” she shared. “Now, the pain is gone!” Saturday nights at our crusades are fire nights and the Saturday we spent in Maputo was no different. Ev. Tamryn had taught on the Holy Spirit on the two previous evenings, after preaching the Gospel message, following such up with a final teaching before praying for the baptism. How stunningly the Spirit fell, how thoroughly He saturated each and every believer! A torrent of new tongues rose heavenward. Some shouted, some sobbed, some were completely overwhelmed. Janele (21) wept on stage, stunned by the presence of God. “I started speaking in tongues for the first time,” she shared. “Tonight, my new story starts. May God use my life for His glory!” On the final night, the Sunday, we closed the crusade by praying a blessing over the people and their city. It was a special time. Muito obrigado, Maputo. We love you and are missing you already.
Praying for the baptism of the Holy Spirit is always a red hot experience

HIS NAME GLORIFIED
gate of heaven
12/ 2015
by tamryn klintworth
In the first chapter of John, we read of a meeting between Jesus and Nathanael. Therein, Jesus made the following statement: “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see the heavens open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man” (John 1:51). This bold proclamation points back to an experience Jacob had in Genesis 28. He dreamed of a ladder set up upon the earth, it’s top reaching heaven, angels descending and ascending on it. The Lord stood above and spoke to him, declaring again the promises He had made to Abraham. Jacob was so impacted by this experience that he declared the place on which he had slept to be the “gate of heaven”. “How awesome is this place!” he declared, “This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate
of heaven!” (Genesis 28:17). Jesus picked up on this experience in John 1, declaring that the angels of God would now ascend and descend “upon the Son of Man”. What He was saying is this: I am the Gate of Heaven; I am your Access Point to God; I am the Doorway to Eternal Life; believe on Me and be saved; believe on me and be connected to the Father. Hallelujah! Our Jesus is all this and more. We have no need to journey to some geographical location before we can encounter God. Our path to Him is Jesus and Jesus is everywhere.
