A NOTE FROM TAMRYN We are drawing nearer and nearer to the end of a spectacular year. Four marvellous crusades now lie behind us and one is yet to come. It has been your faithful support that has made every soul-winning endeavour possible, dear friend. Your generous giving and passionate prayers have ushered thousands of men and women, young and old off the thoroughfare to hell and onto heaven’s highway. They have felt the embrace of the Saviour because of your refusal to pass them by. You have turned aside and – through the vehicle of In His Name – preached the Gospel to them. Let us not stop now, let us continue pushing forwards. Africa must be saved! Yours in His service, EV. TAMRYN KLINTWORTH and the In His Name Team
ntlhaveni encounters jesus Our five-day crusade in Ntlhaveni, South Africa (5 9 October) was glorious from beginning to end! The altar calls for salvation were massive, the deliverances mighty and healings magnificent. The crusade itself and our numerous pre-crusade outreaches resulted in a splendid total of 14 131 precious people saying “Yes!” to Jesus, their details being handed over to the local pastors for follow-up. Deeply rural, Ntlhaveni took us 45 minutes each evening to reach from the bush lodge where we were staying, the drive itself taking us along dust road after meandering dust road in pitch blackness. The wonders we witnessed were fantastic. Most importantly, the wonder of salvation. Each evening, the altar was flooded with men and

women eager to surrender their lives to Jesus and surrender them they did. Prayer for healing and deliverance resulted in numerous testimonies. Agnes (57) had fractured her spinal cord during childhood. “I had terrible pains in my legs,” she expressed, “and I struggled to breathe. During prayer, I felt the Holy Spirit all over my body. Now, I am healed completely. I thank God for healing me!” Chauke (77) could not walk for long distances due to chronic problems with her legs and waist. She was handed a crusade flyer by her grandchild who had received it at school. Demonstrating her newfound freedom on stage, Chauke was jubilant. “I feel very good. I will come to this crusade daily.” Risimati (26) had suffered from burning pains in her

one arm and under her feet throughout the past year. “I am healed, I can wear shoes again!” she expressed. “I thank God for what He has done for me!” Florence (77) had not been able to walk properly or bend at all since 2015. “I am healed, I am healed, I praise God!” she proclaimed, showing off her newfound mobility on stage. “I will live a happy life forever. God is good every time.” Peggy (81) had not been able to move with ease for the past two years, her legs, back and waist posing a constant torment. “Even my concentration was affected,” she voiced. During prayer, I felt the power of God. I am feeling so good and am so happy. I can enjoy my life fully again.”

porridge and struggled to speak. “I thank God for this crusade because I am healed!” she voiced, smiling with contagious joy. The sores are gone, the pain is no more. Grace (59) had been ill for decades. “My kidneys have pained me since my child was born and my child is now old,” she explained. “I failed to bend down and do my everyday chores. Preparing food was very difficult. During prayer, I felt something moving from my head to my legs. Then, I felt no more pains. God is great, nothing is impossible with Him!”
Morris (46) had struggled to hold food down since June 2015. “Whenever I ate anything it would always come back out,” he shared. “I am so glad because now I can eat properly. God has healed me!” Exuberant, Morris ate part of a sandwich he had on hand right there on stage. The crowd cheered him on, celebrating with him. Lettie (54) had suffered from terrible sores in her mouth and throat since 2002. For the past month, she had only been able to eat soft, cold
As is our custom, Ev. Tamryn taught on the Holy Spirit – in addition to a Gospel message being preached – on three of the five crusade evenings. After the final teaching, the crowd was prayed for to be baptised in the Holy Spirit. What emotion, what heavenly chaos! Men and women were overwhelmed by His power, saturated with His glory. It was a matchless night. These believers (both newly saved and mature) shall now continue winning the lost and setting the captives free in their families and communities. The Gospel must be preached and the people of Ntlhaveni will shout His name from the rooftops. Hallelujah!

HIS NAME GLORIFIED
one and only

In John chapter 3, a certain Pharisee named Nicodemus approached Jesus by night and made the following statement: “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” We fully expect Nicodemus to follow this statement up with a question. And yet, Jesus allowed him to go no further, but rather made a statement of His own. “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Why this sudden interruption? Why this grave intensity? I believe Christ’s response was triggered by how Nicodemus addressed him. Nicodemus called Him “Teacher”. Jesus quickly saw that this dear Pharisee was missing the point en-
tirely. He needed Nicodemus to understand that He is infinitely more than just a teacher. First and foremost, He is Saviour, the one and only Saviour for all mankind! See Jesus as merely “Teacher”, and you will live your life by good morals and principles yet still end up in hell. See Jesus as “Saviour”, and you will not only live a good life, but you will receive eternal life, heaven becoming your final destination. Yes indeed, dear friend, Jesus saves. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish by have everlasting life” (John 3 v 26).
