2023 MAYOR’S CHRISTMAS TREE ORNAMENT Since 1981, Mayor’s Christmas Tree ornaments have been sold to help in raising money for the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Fund, which helps fellow Kansas Citians in need celebrate the holiday season. The 2023 ornament, “Holiday Wreath,” was designed by Hallmark Artist Ramon Olivera. Proudly made in Kansas City from the wood of the 2022 Mayor’s Christmas Tree, the laser-cut design features a wreath with red and green decoration. This ornament is a nod to the large, oversized wreath above the entrance to the Crown Center Shops, as we celebrate the opening 50 years ago.
