2020-2021 Lookbook
A picture captures 1,000 words, but what happens when a key element of the picture is missing? Suddenly, the human experience itself appears hidden, concealed, and, some would say, masked. Emotional perception has been frequently eulogized as one of the mass casualties of the past year, but as we explored this concept further, we discovered a tantalizing, colorful reality just beneath the resigned veneer. The following pages detail our observations of life as it stands – the playful, the dark, the glamorous – through a time affected, but certainly not defined, by one uncomfortable constant. Why did we choose a lookbook to convey our vision? While a magazine is forthcoming, we wanted to find a dedicated space to highlight the great visual variety we were able to capture over three days of photoshoots. The final product: 54 photographs, countless stories. A glimpse into the hard work of iNKBLOT over many hours and many months.
