PROJECT: RJ1200 is a Burnaby-based Bollywood station targeting Indo Canadians aged 18 to 35. To effectively reach their young fan base, principle stakeholders at RJ1200 wanted to place greater emphasis on their online marketing campaign, including Facebook and Twitter. Inky Kiss works with RJ1200 to regularly update social networking sites with engaging content that generates attention, discussion, and interest.

RESULT: Since Inky Kiss took over RJ1200’s social initiatives, membership on Facebook has tripled. Membership on Twitter has exceeded 1600 followers. Both initiatives have worked synergistically to raise awareness of the station’s positioning, goals, and role in the South Asian community.
