Caligiuri & Gribaudo

Page 1

InLiquid presents the works of Jorge Caligiuri and Louis Gribaudo, on view at East Market. Interested in the interplay between what nature has created, and what man creates in organic environments, Jorge Caligiuri works primarily in fresco and encaustic mediums, sometimes combining multiple techniques, to create abstract and often minimal paintings. Louis Gribaudo’s work is inspired by diverse sources, such as patterns, sound waves, and geometry. He employs a process driven call & response approach with the aesthetic goal of balancing shifting degrees of chaos and potential through the orchestration of organic and geometric structures.
