s we prepare our children to be the next generation of thinkers and learners, our belief is that we need to instill in them the spirit of social entrepreneurship. There are so many problems that face our planet — it will take those who are curious, creative, caring, and willing to problem solve, to take them on. At Inly, our I-4 Problem Solving model gives our students the skills that they will need. The four stages are: Inquire, Imagine, Invent, Implement. This year our students will use this process in two different ways. Our Kindergarten and Lower Elementary students will present an Invention Convention. Our older students, in Grades 4 – 8, will become Social Entrepreneurs, as they identify big challenges, and work towards solving them. We are so grateful to our business community partners who have inspired the next generation of entrepreneurs. Their generosity and dedication to giving back motivate our students, their parents, and the entire Inly community to do the same. We are especially grateful to those businesses who have opened their doors to our Middle Schoolers as they embark on their first internships. The Friends of Inly Guide, Volume 3, continues to be a valuable resource for our community. All proceeds raised through Friends of Inly sponsorships go towards our financial aid program. The generosity of the supporters in this Guide helps to ensure that Inly’s quality education is accessible to families on the South Shore.
