Звезда манчестерского дуэта Тео Хатчкрафта и Адама Андерсона зажглась на музыкальном небосводе в 2009 году после выхода суперхита «Wonderful Life», взорвавшего все европейские радиоэфиры и сцены главных музыкальных фестивалей лета. Стерильных красавцев с идеальными стрижками, в строгих дорогих костюмах сразу же окрестили чуть ли не самой значимой группой Британии, предвещая им славу ни много ни мало самих Depeche Mode. Впрочем, не зря. Два успешных альбома — «Happiness» (2010) и «Exile» (2013) — разлетелись миллионным тиражом, став дважды золотыми и дважды платиновыми в Великобритании, Германии, Австрии, Швейцарии, Польше и Финляндии. Минорные мелодии и леденящие душу тексты о вечном — любви, отчаянии, смерти и счастье — стали визитной карточкой британцев, обеспечив им преданную армию поклонников по всему миру. Этой осенью ребята представили новый лонгплей «Surrender», ставший уже третьим в их коллекции и первым, который не был записан в родном Манчестере. Как утверждают ребята, именно этот эксперимент и повлиял на изменение в звучании дуэта: привычная для всех обожателей бэнда меланхолия сменились танцевальным диско 80-х и красивыми балладами в исполнении сладкоголосого Тео. The star of Manchester duett Theo Hutchraft and Adam Anderson began to sparkle on the music horizon in 2009 after the release of their hit song «Wonderful Life» which explode all the European radio broadcasting and stages of the main summer music festivals. Sterile dreamboats with the ideal haircuts, dressed in formal expensive suits was straight off the reel nicknamed just like the most meaningful band of Great Britain, foretoken them popularity of nothing less than Depeche Mode. However, with good reason. Two successful albums, «Happiness» (2010) and «Exile» (2013), are spread around the world in millionth circulation, became double gold and double platinum in Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Finland. Minor melodies and soul freezing texts about the everlasting — love, despair, death and happiness — became a trademark of the Englishmen, having supported them with a devoted army of the fans all around the world. This autumn the guys have presented to the world the new longplay «Surrender» which has already become the third one in their collection and the first one having been not recorded in their native Manchester. According to the guys, namely that experiment influenced the changes in the duett sounding: common melancholy for all fans of the band was changed into the dancing disco of the 80ths and the beautiful ballads performed by sweet voice of Theo. About the personal transformations which happened to the guys during the work over the new album, about traveling, the fight of good and evil, about the muses and the important life suggestions we spoke with the main British daydreamers in the exclusive interview Airport.
