For our youngest learners - from Nursery to Year 2 - the Pre-Prep is where their journey of learning begins.OurNurserywarmlywelcomes childrenfromthetenderageoftwo, settingthestagefortheireducational voyage through our Pre-Prep and beyond. At Sevenoaks Prep, we see each child as a unique individual, nurturing their strengths and recognising their achievements as theygrowanddevelop.

YEARS 7&8
Thefirstyearsofsecondaryeducationarecrucial;pupils specialists with experience of teaching GCSE, A level and IB; they understand where pupils need to beacademicallyandpersonally-attheendofYear8in ordertothriveintheyearsahead.Itgivesusgreatpride to introduce our young men and women to their new schools,knowingthattheyhaveachievedtheirbestand thattheywillmakesignificantcontributionsintheirnew

ThemainsportsforourPreppupilsareathletics,cricket,crosscountry,football,hockey,netballandrugby-witheverychildrepresenting theschoolinregularfixturesagainstlocalschoolsandourteams frequentlyexcellinginlocalandnationaltournaments.Inourcricket programme,boysandgirlsplaytogetheronteamsselectedbyability,not gender,fromU8toour1stXI. Ourgamesprogrammerunsalongside regularPElessonswherepupilslearnabouttheimportanceofhealthand wellbeinganddeveloptheirfitnessthrougharangeofactivities.

EverypupilfromYear3hasaweeklydramalessonwithacurriculum thatencouragesanunderstandingofperformancetechniqueand communication.LAMDAsessionsareavailableforpupilsfromYear1 andpupilstakepartinarangeofexternalcompetitions.Children performonstageintheirnativityandendofyearshowsthroughoutthe Pre-Prep.InthePrepschool,wehavefourschooldramaproductions eachyearandallpupilsareencouragedtotakepart,eitheronstageor behindthescenes.
