Die Designer von Foster + Partners kombinieren souverän die Materialien: Sattelleder mit seiner markanten Zeichnung im Rücken, natürliche Stoffe im Sitz. Die aufwendig gearbeitete Ziernaht betont die schwungvollen Linien. Leicht drehbar oder auf Füßen ruhend: Kraftvolle Eleganz mit einem wohldosierten Schuss Laissez-faire – unverzichtbar für lange Abende charmanter Gastlichkeit. Neu: Den Sessel gibt es nun auch in allen Stoff- und Lederkombinationen, komplett mit Stoff oder Leder bezogen sowie mit lackierter Außenschale in Bronze oder in Anthrazit. A new classic of salon culture. The Foster 520 armchair reinterprets the tradition of the club armchair – the development of which in Germany Walter Knoll was involved in at the beginning of the twentieth century. The designers at Foster + Partners have made masterly use of the materials: saddle leather with its striking grain for the back, natural fabrics for the seat. The elaborately finished decorative seam emphasises the sweeping lines. With a slight swivel action or quite still on legs: powerful elegance with a perfect dose of laissez-faire – essential for long evenings of charming hospitality. New: the armchair is now also available in all fabric and leather combinations, completely covered in fabric or leather as well as with a lacquered outer shell in bronze or anthracite.

Der legendäre Clubsessel der Schweizer Architekten und Designer Trix und Robert Haussmann ist zurück. Und nun auch mit ihm: das Sofa aus dem reeditierten Programm. Im Jahre 1962 als Teil der Swiss Design Collection entworfen, legt Walter Knoll diese Klassiker der Möbelgeschichte wieder auf. Wie bei einem Chesterfield-Möbel strukturiert das charakteristische Rautenmuster Sitz und Rücken. Die traditionelle Polstertechnik des Kapitonierens – die Knopfsteppung – sorgt dafür. Ein Zeichen meisterhafter Polstererfahrung. Die Moderne zeigt sich am filigranen Gestell der Füße – eine Hommage an das Bauhaus. The special quality of craftsmanship, upholstery expertise and the modern age – typical Walter Knoll. And typical Haussmann 310. The legendary club armchair by Swiss architects and designers Trix and Robert Haussmann is back. And with it: the sofa from the newly edited range. Designed in 1962 as part of the Swiss Design Collection, Walter Knoll is reissuing these classic pieces of furnishing history. As with all Chesterfield furniture, the characteristic diamond pattern structures back and seat. The traditional upholstering technique of button tufting makes sure of that. A sign of masterly upholstery experience. The modern age is reflected in the delicate legs – a tribute to the Bauhaus movement.

Dieser Stuhl von Claudio Bellini ist auf das Schönste reduziert. Schwingende Linien prägen die Silhouette – charmant betont durch die farblich akzentuierte Biese. Ein elastisches Gewebe – unter dem Bezug – spannt die Flächen für Sitz und Rücken auf. Für die Luftfahrt entwickelt, leistet dieses Hightech-Material auch bei Liz den besonderen Komfort. Wieder wegweisend innovativ wie einst der Antimott-Sessel von Walter Knoll mit seiner speziellen Feder aus den 30er Jahren. Den Stuhl gibt es mit und ohne Armlehnen. Ganz anders und doch vertraut – die neue Variante mit geschlossenen Armlehnen. Der Bezug ist abnehmbar. Eine neue Leichtigkeit des Sitzens. This chair by Claudio Bellini has been reduced to what is most beautiful. Swaying lines define the silhouette – charmingly emphasised by the coloured piping. An elastic textile – under the cover – spans its expanses for seat and back. Developed for aviation, the high-tech material provides special comfort for Liz, too. Once again pioneeringly innovative like the »Antimott« armchair by Walter Knoll from the 1930s with its special springs. The chair comes either with or without armrests. Totally different and yet familiar – the new variant with solid armrests. The cover can be removed. A new lightness of sitting.
