Our flagship property, this historic federal gem features ten guestrooms.
Built in 1833, the Aurora Inn has long been the resting place for travelers to the storied Finger Lakes region. The Inn originally served as a stage coach stop for passengers on the Wells Fargo Express, founded by Henry Wells, a visionary entrepreneur who also founded Wells College here in Aurora. Today, the Inn’s ten gracious guestrooms are true to their nineteenth century origins, yet meticulously re-envisioned for comfort and convenience. Many feature fireplaces for a cozy winter retreat. Others have private porches with swings and rockers that overlook beautiful Cayuga Lake and the vineyards on its western shore.
