If you are willing to break even or lose money then you might be able to move quickly if you think that’s what you want. Tennessee Takeover of Cafe Aroma

ob Adler has been dreaming of opening his own restaurant since 1990. So, purchasing Cafe Aroma last month and renaming it the Tennessee Grill was his chance at a dream-come-true.

Adler described the transition as being a “plane in mid-flight and changing pilots.” Adler’s first move was to hire a baker to offer daily fresh-baked breads, muffins and pastries. And according to Adler, all vegetables used are sourced from Arizona farms. “That’s what I feed my family, so that’s what I want to feed my customers,” he said. His plan is to slowly transform the menu into a Southern-influenced selection to eventually include barbecue favorites. Owner Aaron Williams said the business is particularly sensitive to snowbird traffic, “We typically see a slight slowdown in summer because of the number of winter visitors who leave for the summer, but this summer our numbers have actually stayed consistent with busier times of the year.”
