CONTEXT A Company association that represents more than 100 companies (companies and producer organizations), through the promotion and selling of high quality fruit, vegetables and flowers; hereby integrating more than 3000 farmers.

ACTIVITY For the last three years, Portugal Fresh has been active within the main markets and events of Europe and Africa (Fruit Logistica - Berlin, Fruit Attraction - Madrid, SIAM - Morocco, NOVISAD - Serbia, Fresh Fruit - Denmark, Asia Fruit Logistica - Hong Kong). PROFILE An important sector of the national production, which represents 36% of national agricultural production and 61% of vegetable production, generating a business volume higher than 2.300 million Euros. Besides already showing a clear export tendency, it also generates employment, much of it consisting of young highly educated employees.
