Pensacola Seafood Festival This year marks the 37th anniversary of the Seafood Fest, so Fiesta of Five Flags (the festival organizers) are clearly doing something right. Pensacola Greek Festival The parishioners of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church are celebrating

Greater Good Music, Art & Children’s Festival

You know what’s great about Greater Good? Eric Ayotte and the Gadabout Traveling Film Festival

The Gadabout started in 2002 “with the idea of creating a film festival that operates more like a DIY punk band,” meaning they tour in a van with a projector and play independent short films. This year marks their 12th annual program, which is called “Speechless,” a curated collection of films with no dialogue. Sluggo’s is hosting the festival.

Foo Foo Festival

What do Pensacon, the Blue Angels, Ballet Pensacola and the Pensacola Marathon have in common? They are all hosting events that fall under the umbrella of Foo Foo Festival. The purpose of this festival, which is in its inaugural year, is to highlight an eclectic mix of arts and culture events. They certainly picked the perfect time of year and organizations to make that happen. There is truly something for everyone during this 12-day celebration.

Frank Brown International Songwriter's Festival

Looking for another chance to hear the stories behind the songs? This festival, which is named after the late Frank Brown who was night watchman at the Flora-Bama for 28 years, showcases even more songwriters. Japanese Film Festival

(at Tree House Cinema) The Japan-America Society of Northwest Florida is presenting this two-day celebration of Japanese cinema as part of Foo Foo Fest. In addition to the movies, attendees will be exposed to Japanese cuisine and culture through demonstrations, while children can participate in games and activities in observance of “Shichi-GoSan,” which is a Japanese tradition that celebrates the growth and well-being of children.

Pensacola Craft Beer Festival

Want to drink beer for a good cause? Then this is the fest for you. This year’s third annual Pensacola Craft Beer Festival features tons of breweries and benefits Kasie Helpz Kids, a non-profit whose purpose is assisting children and their families who are affected by cancer.

Pensacola EggFest

Because beer taste better with food, they are having not one by two festivals at the Maritime Park November 15. In addition to Pensacola Craft Beer Festival, you can also sample what chefs and local “celebrities” are able to cook on their Big Green Eggs. Last year featured 75 EggChefs and it’s expected to be bigger and better this year. EggFest benefits Chain Reaction, Pensacola's only teen volunteer center.

Mahabhuta Yoga Festival

The mission of this festival is to celebrate yoga and unite communities. To do so, they are hosting 24 regional yoga studios over the weekend at Sanders Beach Community Center. They are offering single passes and full weekend passes that allow attendees to take in any workshop or concert offered on any given day.

Downtown Mobile’s annual Bayfest is back, with headliners on Friday that include a little something for everyone (Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, AFI, Alabama, Ludacris and Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington). Rockers will be thrilled on Saturday (Amos Lee, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Jane’s Addiction and Kid Rock), and anyone wanting to dance will have a fine time on Sunday (Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Foster the People, Earth Wind & Fire). Fairhope Film Festival

Downtown Fairhope will play host to the second annual Fairhope Film Festival, a three-day event dedicated to bringing national and international film festival competition finalists of the past year to the Gulf Coast. In true film fest style, directors, actors and screenwriters will participate either in person or remotely.

Perdido KeyGulf Shores Perdido Key Oktoberfest

German food and beer, live music and Bavarian feats of strength are the main attractions at the Perdido Key Visitor Center during Perdido Key’s Oktoberfest. Enjoy a costume contest, numerous children’s activities and a friendly Bavarian contest called “Masskrugstemen,” which challenges you to hold a stein of beer at shoulder level for as long as you can. Seeing Red Wine Festival

In its 24th year, the Seeing Red Wine Festival presents an extensive array of tastings with wines sampled from around the world along with live music and food from top local restaurateurs.
