The harmonious interplay of body and soul …

… is enshrined in the Ayurvedic concept of the three vital energies, or doshas: vata, pitta and kapha. Every individual has a certain constellation of doshas from birth, which regulate one's body.

In order to enable our therapist to cater to your dosha, we ask you to fill out a questionnaire before any Ayurvedic treatment (you’ll find this in your guest folder).

There are many factors in life that can be a burden on the body and on our health. The Panchakarma treatment allows you to wind down physically and mentally. Learn to let go. We offer you the Panchakarma treatment at our Ayurveda hotel in Austria, without jetlag, with oils from India made according to centuries-old formulas.

We guide you attentively through three consecutive phases of regeneration. During the preparation phase, you experience gentle preliminary detoxification. This is followed by “Snehapana” (ghee intake days). It releases toxins from the tissue and binds the toxins in the body to it. Then there is the cleansing phase: “Virechana”.

The released toxins are eliminated from the body through the digestive system by taking an Ayurvedic “laxative cocktail”. These days are special and are also ideal for mental cleansing.

After this period, we gradually move into the regenerative phase. We strengthen your metabolism and your immune system. Dr. Dinu, our Ayurvedic doctor from Kerala, and the AlpinSPA team guide you through your personal cleansing and rejuvenation treatment. The Ayurvedic nutrition from our organic cuisine enhances your wellbeing even further. Our kitchen team is happy to cater for your nutritional recommendations by Dr. Dinu.

Who is the treatment suitable for?

Panchakarma treatment is an Ayurvedic technique for preserving health. It is carried out especially in case of chronic illness such as rheumatism or diabetes, as well as mental health problems such as depression.

Massage with raw silk gloves

Garshan is a cleansing treatment that stimulates the metabolism.

Ayurvedic Garshan massages are carried out using raw silk gloves. This unique dry massage stimulates the metabolism and circulation and promotes lymphatic drainage. It boosts the circulation by encouraging the removal of metabolic waste from body tissue. The skin is gently polished and electrostatic charge is balanced. Gentle removal of dry skin increases the absorption of nourishing lotions and oils.

Powder massage
