elcome to In Season Magazine! What started out as a friendly conversation between bloggers has finally begun to take shape. Our original plan was to begin publishing our quarterly issues in 2015. Shortly after we announced In Season Magazine to our readers, the comments and messages started filtering in. Most of them shared the same theme: they were kind requests that we consider publishing a preview of our magazine in time for the holiday season. One request was followed by another, and another until we knew exactly what we needed to do. We needed to get busy and start creating a Holiday Issue! A vital component of the Holiday Issue is the “A Few of Our Favorite Things” gift guide section. It contains products that were hand selected by our

contributors to share with you in time for holiday gift giving. Each of these products includes a personal introduction and had to meet two simple criteria. First, the product had to be fabulous. It needed to be something that we would be proud to give as a gift to friends and family. Secondly, it needed to be something that we had seen in person. We wanted to have the opportunity to hold it in our hands and share with you exactly why it was selected to be included in our collection of A Few of Our Favorite Things. So, without further ado, welcome to a special portion of our issue that we simply couldn’t wait any longer to share with you. On the following pages, you’ll learn more about the items that we chose to include in A Few of Our Favorite Things for Bread Bakers.

T h i ng s From the cookbooks that we love to draw baking inspiration from to the handmade linen bags that we store our fresh bread in, we’ve tried to cover all of the bases. These are the tools that we reach for every time we go into the kitchen to make a loaf of homemade bread. We are putting the finishing touches on the final Holiday Issue and can’t wait to share it with you. We’re adding in the final few delicious recipes, DIY projects, and fabulous products to the gift guide. We hope that you will enjoy these specialized A Few of Our Favorite Things issues and getting a taste of what is in store for the Holiday Issue and 2015. You’ll find other guides for bakers, chicken keepers, and more. Happy Holidays to you and yours from all of us here at In Season Magazine!
