There’s something for everyone at Britain’s favourite amusement park. From white-knuckle rollercoasters, to spectacular shows and the UK’s only Nickelodeon Land.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is known for its impressive collection of thrilling rides; from the majestic Big One to much-loved favourites such as the Grand National. At 65 metres tall, The Big One is Britain’s highest rollercoaster, reaching speeds of up to 85 mph as you hurtle back to Earth after enjoying the spectacular seafront views. You can also experience Nickelodeon Land, a 6-acre area of the Pleasure Beach loaded with 12 rides, a gift shop, game stalls, a restaurant and a whole host of famous Nickelodeon characters.
Sandcastle Waterpark Blackpool is the UK’s largest Indoor waterpark. With over 18 slides and plenty of exciting attractions in an 84-degree tropical climate, there’s something to entertain the whole family. Waterpark slides
include two Aztec themed slides which launch from high up on the waterpark’s roof, venturing outside and then sweeping back into the building before hitting the water. The first – Montazooma – is a colossal mat slide with 360° loops and back-to-back turns, while the second – Aztec Falls – involves an electrifying pitch-black descent into a giant bowl.
