LINE DRY CLOTHES TO SAVE ENERGY
With increased heat and longer daylight hours, opting to dry your clothes on a clothesline or drying rack outdoors, or even indoors by a window, can eliminate the use of an electric dryer, thereby conserving electricity and lowering your monthly utility expenses.
Ingredients:
Easy Peach Cobbler
1 cup self-rising flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar, (plus 2 additional tbsp for topping) 1/2 cup butter, divided 1 (29 oz) can sliced peaches in heavy syrup, undrained
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium-size mixing bowl coarsely mix the flour, 3/4 cup of the sugar, and 1/4 cup melted butter together. Sprinkle about one-third of the flour mixture on the bottom of a 9x9 baking dish. Add the peaches with their juice to the dish. Sprinkle the top of peaches with the remaining sugar/flour mixture and then with remaining 2 tbsp sugar. Drizzle top of the batter with the remaining melted butter. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT GENERATOR SAFETY
During hurricane season, people often consider installing generators in their homes or businesses. While they can serve a purpose during storms, there are several things you should know to keep everyone safe.
TIPS FOR SAFE GENERATOR USE
• Never connect a generator directly to your home's wiring.
• Never plug an electric portable generator in a regular household outlet.
• Use proper electrical cords.
• Make sure the generator is always properly grounded.
• Carefully read and follow all instructions and safety precautions.
• Follow local, state, and national fire and electrical codes.
• Never operate indoors — Protect yourself from carbon monoxide poisoning.
• Never fuel a generator while it is operating.
• Always have a fire extinguisher nearby.
We strongly recommend a licensed electrician install the equipment necessary to safely connect emergency portable generators.
WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT?
If a generator is not properly installed with an appropriate transfer switch, backfeeding can occur. Backfeeding is when power flows back into the wiring, which could be hazardous or even deadly for utility workers.
